Shower head adjustable slide rod was broken, so shower head wouldn’t stay up and kept falling down. Commode had feces stains when i arrived, so it had obviously not been cleaned. Very disappointed.

Staff friendly. There was ridiculous amount.of mildew around top of shower and on some shower floor. My wife said someone was drinking alcohol in their car for several hours in parking lot. Won’t use a Howard Johnson again.

Kicked me out after i checked in
I was traveling for business and had one small puppy with me that I picked up for a child. I was delivering the puppy that next morning. I called arpund 8 pm est wanting a room and would arrive aepumd 11pm central. I paid over the phone and was never asked by the reservation person if i had a pet. Since i was traveling i did not read if pets were allowed. I assumed the reservation person would tell me theyre not allowed on the front end. I would not have paid for that room if pets were not allowed obviously. I arrive and the lady takes my credit card and license. Still not question or mention about a pet not beimg allowed or if i have a pet. She runs my card and gives me my license and card back. Then ask me if i have a pet. I said yes are they allowed and she replied no. I said ok ill leave him in the car. I was not happy but once again i hahd already paid for the room. I bring all of my stuff in to go to my room and the informs me that i cannot stay there because she does not believe me when i say ill keep him in the car. Then she states she cannot refund me my momey because i did it online. You cannot keep my money kick me out because you dont trust me then demand the keys back. She was rude as well. Look all i want is my money back. I had no way to review all the details and i was never told no pets until i was handed the keys. Please contact me and please refund me the money.
