Let me start by saying the employees at the front desk when I arrived were AMAZING! I have to end there, we were given 5 rooms. The first room was the cleanest but the AC unit (in the bathroom ceiling) leaked, slipped on a puddle of water and thought when my son washed his hands he had flung the water UNTIL attempting to use the bathroom and water began dripping on my head. There was mold in the other rooms bathrooms. Some rooms smelled like mildew and the dashed qdreams of having a good trip. The beds are like sleeping on a rock. It’s beyond dated and needs an overhaul. Complimentary breakfast used to be the best part of staying at the embassy. The food was horrible. Undercooked, the made to order omelet used powdered eggs that tasted as such with limp veggies, the sausage was pink inside and some homeless folks were stealing breakfasts. I’m actually not too mad at that part but the unclean and digging in food grossed me out. Since I booked through Expedia and not Hilton I couldn’t be refunded. Don’t do it, book a hotel near St. John’s and go be amazed. Great shopping and ALL the food places.

Ist time staying away from IHG brand and I wasn't impressed. The hotel was very outdated and not very clean. The shower had mold and the carpets were sticky to the feel. The mattresses were not comfortable. We stayed for a soccer tournament. Everyone brags about their breakfast, but unfortunately its only from 7 to 10am and we had to be on field at 7 for 8am games and didnt get done until 930 plus 18 min drive back. So, there wasnt enought time. Ive stayed in a lot cheaper hotels that were 40-50$ a night cheaper.

Room was very nice and accomodating. however the shampoo was empty and there were no coffee cups provided. Easy fixes! Pool was clean. Restaurant was good but overpriced. Ran out of chicken tenders the night we were there. Would definitely stay again
