I would not stay here again. I booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool for my kids, but when we got down to the pool, it was overrun by kids-I mean 30-40 kids with only a handful of “adults” supervising them. Most of the “adults” were actually teenagers. It was chaos and lawlessness. Before we got there, someone else must have complained about it because a staff member tried to control the chaos, but it was no use. The chaos and lawlessness continued, and my kids decided that they didn’t want to be involved in that so we left the pool. We drove seven hours and the whole time my kids were looking forward to the pool, but unfortunately, the lack of control by the hotel management made this impossible. To go along with that, the room above us played extremely loud music until the wee hours of the morning. It felt like we were trying to sleep in the club. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up. However, the clubbing continued. Finally, my husband went down to the front desk and complained. I would not ever recommend anyone stay in this hotel. It’s wild and chaotic, and management has very little control of the guests who have zero respect for other guests. They need to up their security here at this hotel.

Ac kept clicking/ scraping when it would turn on and off. AC was not cool enough even after putting temp down. There was not a fitted sheet for the pull out couch already in the room, had to ask front desk. Light/ fan switch in the bathroom were falling off wall and dirty.

I really liked the atrium layout. It’s a nice architectural feature that makes the common area feel massive and it draws guests towards the central area making it inviting and social vs most hotels where it’s a reception walled off with elevators that take you to hallways of doors. Reception staff extremely nice, responsive and helpful. Spacious rooms, clean sheets decent price. The made to order omelets and two free drinks for happy hour are a nice touch. It’s geared towards big events, corporate and social. While I was there there was a huge family reunion, which I thought was great to see but it can get loud and echoing in that massive central area, but that didn’t bother me at all. I enjoy being around others having fun. Stayed one night while passing through Jacksonville and would return.
