This wonderful hotel-style condo is located on the ground floor of the Sandcastles complex, right next door to the Amelia Island Omni Plantation, which makes it a perfect location if you are attending a conference or wedding. This suite has two queen beds and a private patio overlooking the wonderful resort landscaping. Wake up to the toasty aromas of freshly brewed coffee, then take your first cup out to savor the salty ocean air before starting a fun-filled day! The ground-floor location makes for easy access, and you'll be about a two-minute walk from the Omni Resort.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Very nice experience! Walk right out to the beach and pool. My kids loved seeing the tortoises in the little courtyard! Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is that little “kitchenette” area is somewhat awkward. Overall, we had a great trip!

You can't beat the location, beach being steps away. Lots of restaurants. We had a very relaxing weekend, the only thing that would have been better, was if it had a kitchenette.

Nice location. No Omni resort pool or resort tram access allowed.
The Omni Amelia Island Resort area is beautiful. 256 hotel side had a nice location for access to everything. Very humid in room at night which was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Unit was nicely equipped for our needs. Would not stay there again though. Wasn’t whatwe expected.

Great location! Awesome that you can walk right out the patio and on to the beach. Also enjoyed that you can walk to the Omni shops and the whole thing is dog friendly. It is a bit of a drive to the main town so if you don't have a rental or car that could be tough. Agree with some of the other reviews that it is starting to show it's age a bit, but nothing that bothered us. We'd definitely come back!

Great place to relax
We really enjoyed the location and the ease of having the first floor with our springer spaniel pups. Short walk to a fabulous beach and nice property pool. Short walk to the Omni resort for a poolside beverage. The beds were good and clean. It was nice to have two separate sinks. The room has a mini fridge, coffee maker, and pretty much anything else you need. My only negative was the carpet is very stained and the room did smell a little like cigarettes—- a huge blast of Lysol helped. We totally enjoyed our stay and would return to this property because of the location and overall amenities.

Perfect location and view
We spent 3 days in this condo and really enjoyed it. The location and view were perfect. The only negatives were the carpet which needs replacing due to pet smells and we could've used more linens - heavier blankets and additional washrags / hand towels.

Great location !!
Great view from the room. Nice boarded walk down to the beach and not too many people there even though it was the week before school started. My only complaint is the amenities list. It showed there was a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. I assumed that meant fully equipped, but after I booked I called and found out the listing was incorrect and just had a mini fridge and coffee maker. So had to change what food we could bring to defray the cost of eating out every meal. Fernandina Beach Historic district is a great place to walk around and shop or eat out and just 15 min drive. Fort Clinch State Park is another place to visit and find small shark teeth. Just ask the Park Ranger at the entrance ($6 for all day) where the best place is to look. Overall, it was a relaxing mini vacation.
