We loved the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It’s right downtown by the water. Walk one block to town. Great food and an absolutely adorable little town. I would highly recommend it. We also have two dogs. We will come again Only negative for some might be the train is behind the hotel. There two days only heard it twice. Was not an issue for us. Still love it!!!

We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping areas, as well as the harbor. It was the perfect location for all of the New Years Eve festivities. The hotel offered some fun extras like a hot chocolate bar in the lobby. We had a great stay!

Carmichael, and as a long-time loyal user of Expedia, I have always appreciated the quality of service and the memorable experiences you help create. I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Fernandina Beach, where we enjoyed our time; however, I encountered an issue that I believe warrants your attention. We opted for an upgraded room specifically to enjoy the fireplace, which was advertised as a feature. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that the fireplace was not functioning. When I brought this to the attention of the Hampton administration, they informed me that it was Expedia's responsibility for not clearly indicating that the fireplace was out of order in your listing. While I had anticipated a cozy evening by the fire, the lack of this feature was disappointing, especially since we chose this upgrade with that expectation in mind. I am not seeking a refund; rather, I would greatly appreciate your consideration for a substantial credit towards my future bookings. This gesture would acknowledge the inconvenience we faced and reinforce my loyalty to Expedia. Thank you for taking the time to read my request. We came in late and waited for employee over 8 minutes at front desk; same scenerio. This morning and no one there to tend to long line, we left keys on counter and walked away. Breakfast offered was amazing and staff was hard working and attentive. Room was clean and hotel was central. Need better front desk staff!

The property was in a nice are, and we love staying there for that reason. Because we reserved through Expedia we were given a room on the front. Across the street is a bar with very loud live music and patrons. Thankfully, I had earplugs and a sound machine. Otherwise I would had to leave. Just beware
