The TV in my room doesn't work. I'm starving, and I can't even get a bag of chips here after midnight. The internet isn't working. Check-in was a terrible experience. Shower leaks all over the bathroom floor due to an awful design flaw. 1 out of 10 hotel experience, from a 200 night per year executive traveler. The only good news is that I just booked one night, and I can change hotels tomorrow.

Uncomfortable beds needs maintenance
Definitely not A “Omni” resort experience. The Beds are AWFUL old and very uncomfortable. The first room had renovated decor. Pretty tile, nice shower head, good hot water pressure. Updated Capet but it was dirty and moldy smell. I ask to move rooms due to the awful bed and they did. 2nd room the bed was more comfortable but not good. Capet was clean. Renovates furniture but an old tub with newer tile. When went to shower the diverted was broken so maintenance had to come fix it. The coffee pot did not work. And the safe did not work. The Resort property is absolutely gorgeous pools, beautiful decorations for Christmas, large awesome fireplaces roaring. Note The distance into the historic downtown is about 20 minutes drive but we were able to uber easily.

The property was very clean and well managed. The layout was very convenient. The shuttle bus was so frequent it felt as though the drivers were our personal drivers. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make you feel special.

Had a fabulous stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. Every part of the stay was wonderful, from the initial greeting by the gentleman who assisted us with our luggage and every person after that until we checked out. All questions were immediately answered and no request we made was forgotten about or ignored. Service was amazing as well as the food at each venue on the property. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone we know who will be visiting the area.

The views from the property were amazing. The location to the beach and walking trails were a draw. That is where the positive ended for the property. The property was disconnected and getting from the parking to the rooms and lobby was awkward and not well instructed. The room looked old and the air didn’t work very well. There were also holes in the curtains. The way the property is setup is more of a motel style instead of a hotel, since the rooms can only be accessed from the walkway outside. Services were very lacking for a luxury hotel. The cleaning service had to be requested one day. There were dresses hung up in the room and after the room was requested to be cleaned cleaned, the dresses were left on the floor. I asked about pressing service since we were there for a wedding. The front desk staff didn’t know what services were offered. The room had a note about pressing service, which I tried. Luckily I didn’t need it to be done that day, because the shirt I sent was more wrinkled when it was returned than sent.

Understaffed and staff undertrained. Property getting on, our room door didn't work (didn;t close) and the fire alarm went on at 4 AM and had to be unhooked and physically removed. Food is mediocre (appeared to be mass produced and reheated) and is VERY expensive, Advertised as family friendly but is sedate and didn't look like a fun place for little ones (especially in cold weather).
