When I tried calling to let them know, I would be arriving late. No one answered the phone when I showed up after 1 AM. The door was locked with a sign saying they were closed and if there was an emergency to call phone number. When I called the phone number it was, not a working number. I had to go down the street and find another hotel which was five times the price.

I was. Pleasantly surprised. This is an older motel that has been renovated. They've done a very nice job, The lobby is gorgeous.The rooms are good. Rooms are a nice size with. Basic basic needs met. Everything worked. And was spotless. The bed was comfortable although the bedding was lacking. There was only a top sheet and a synthetic quilted bedspread four covers. I would definitely rather see a light blanket with either a duvet or sheet above and below it. Because the bed spread was All there was, I would have rather folded it back and not used it

They stole my breakage deposit
They stole my the breakege deposit by saying I stole the towels of the room. I very clearly did not steal the towels, I barely used one, didn't even unfold the other one. Room was fine but terrible experience.

There were some challenges when we checked in. The first room we were assigned had a leak. The second room had not been cleaned in a while. The furniture was new. So new, in fact, that the bedframe had to be tightened. The staff was very accommodating and gracious. The only real negative is the undocumented $100 refundable security deposit. If that had been documented I would have found another property.

My bed frame squeaked first night. That is because bolts to frame were not tightened. After tightening, no noise at all. I set AC unit to cool so fan would stay on, while compressor came on as needed … as I do not like silence and the AC coming on. Other wise it was fine for a 2 star hotel.
