Great w/the exception of 1 staff member
This is a great place to stay! They have really nice staff with the exception of 1 older lady that wears glasses. She is very snarky when talking. She carries a disrespectful tone and demeanor through every interaction. And when it comes to late checkouts, she won’t even look, she automatically denies all of them with not a care for why someone may have needed that late checkout. One of the guests called the cops on her because she was so disrespectful to him and then later she told a different customer about the situation like they were best friends! Very unprofessional in every way. I didn’t catch her name at all, but she is the only reason to avoid staying here.

First time staying here. My room was at the opposite end of the hotel despite not being full. Even though it was a non-smoking room there was not a smoke alarm within 10 yards of the place. Front desk and breakfast were fine but convenience & safety a little suspect.

We’ve used this property over Thanksgiving for the past 3 years. Our extended family group usually takes up 5-7 guest rooms. The common area around the pool is really nice to be able to easily access and visit together as a group, though it really could use a good updating. Condensation drops from the ceiling when it’s cold out and the hot tub water is rarely clear; it seems like it could benefit from a new filtration system. The breakfast area and menu are really very good and the staff have been nothing but great every year. The entire hotel could really use updating. We will likely continue to use the hotel over Thanksgiving because the other hotels in town just don’t have such a great combination of amenities, but spending a little to update it could really take it to the next level.

Needs work, but decent stay
It was a decent room. Not really up to standards for a $200 a night stay. Grout on tile around jacuzzi was missing, small leaks in faucet handle to turn on Jacuzzi, carpeting on floor by closet and walls frizzled and coming apart, baseboards were very dusty, drop ceiling in bathroom and above Jacuzzi tub were discolored and didn't have any eye appeal whatsoever. No instructions for how to operate Jacuzzi tub. Ceiling fan was missing a screw in the fan blade so it made a horrible clinking sound when trying to use it. Overall, I do have complaints, but it didn't require me asking for reduced rate or refund. Just won't be booking in the king suite again unless I know it's been gone through and brought back up to par. Rating I saw gave the room a 10/10 but it's more of a 7.
