"Sudima Christchurch Airport was great. The hotel has two wings & I was given a free upgrade to a large room in the newer wing. Room very clean. Bed had soft mattress & pillows. Nice TV with a very simple to use tv remote. My room also had an Alexa device which made setting a wake up alarm extremely easy. The room swipe card will get you back into the hotel if it's after 11pm.( At both entrances.) And there's also an intercom at the entrances. Very little noise from planes & both wings of the hotel are well back from the road so pretty much zero road noise. It's about a 10 minute walk to the international terminal - just be careful crossing the road! However Sudima does have a free shuttle as well!"

"Very comfortable bed with two extra pillows, which we put to use. The small kitchen was only used for coffee and tea making as we only stayed one night. It had a small fridge, cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, a few pots and pans, cutlery for two people, several types of glasses, cups, plates, sal and pepper, dishwashing equipment with a small sink and tap in the kitchen. There was a desk and chair for working with an overhead lamp for the desk. The WiFi was very good. There was a very large TV with a Blu-ray player, speakers in the ceiling and a receiver. I think there was Foxtel. The bathroom was well equipped with even fragrance spray for smells. Heated towel rail was a welcome addition in the bathroom. The parking was easy with access to our room from the parking space being only a couple of steps away. The surrounding environment was free of noise and close to take-away food places and six-to-ten-minute driving distance to supermarkets. "

"Airport hotels are always a gamble - but this one paid off. It was clean and comfortable and had very friendly and helpful staff. An airport shuttle is always helpful (although it doesn't run all night). However, the driver did drop us off at the off-airport car rental location directly in the morning, which was extremely helpful!"

"It is convenient to the airport, bus line, supermarket, restaurants, and Antarctic Centre. The vibe is hipster cool. My teen loved the common room with games, hammocks and swings."
