“Neon Fish” is a private, luxurious 2 bedroom home that sits proud on a beautiful rocky cliff with big ocean drama, an endless sky scape and wonderful wildlife home to whales, seals, sea birds and more. Winter, spring, summer or fall...Every season has its own beauty.

As you enter Neon Fish, you’ll be immediately and pleasantly surprised by the spectacular ocean views at every turn!

The open floor plan on the upper level is contemporary and flows easily from living to kitchen + dining. Neon Fish is simply elegant, supremely comfortable, ideal for couples celebrating a special occasion, fantastic for two couples seeking a place to spend time together and absolutely perfect if you want to escape life’s every day stresses with plans of relaxing and observing nature’s magnificence!

The kitchen is easy to navigate, complete with spices, oils, condiments, kitchen gadgets galore, an outdoor grill nearby and everything you could possibly need to make a delicious meal.

The lower level of the home has 2 bedrooms separated by a spiral staircase for ultimate privacy—both equally nice rooms with floor to ceiling ocean views, their own decks, en suite bathrooms and comfortable high end bedding.
*Door on the lower level/ocean side of the home separates the bedrooms and opens to a private bluff—Awesome!

Enjoy all of the property's outdoor space—both oceanfront and a private courtyard with outdoor seating, fire pit, a backdrop of beautiful coastal trees with more ocean views.

For dusk/evening glamour and a change of mood…The Neon Fish vintage art piece fills the living room with a pink glow and the outdoor cliff lights highlight the rocky shore. Stargazing is incredible and the moon on the Sonoma Coast is beyond beautiful without any light pollution from the surrounding area.

The spa/sun room is one of the favorite rooms in the house. It has a large soaking tub w/ recycling fresh water that stays heated at 103 degrees, sliding doors that open wide to the ocean view, a moon eclipse sconce light over the tub and a rain shower to complete the experience. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the coast any time of the day or night.

Without needing to get in a car—Take a bluff walk to StillWater Cove Beach and across the way you’ll find an old growth redwood/ fern forest trail with creeks, birdsong and a variety of flora and fauna.

A get-away to Neon Fish will be an experience you’ll never forget!

BEAUTIFUL
Neon Fish is an absolutely beautiful private home right on the ocean with amazing views of the ocean and cliffs. My husband and I stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. It was mesmerizing watching the waves crash into the rocks, and we enjoyed the visits from the deer. Our only cons on the home is we wish it had king sized beds instead of queens and more options on comfortable seating on the deck overlooking the ocean. However, that would not stop us from staying again. It was amazing!

Oceanside getaway
We are from Minnesota and wanted to stay next to the ocean for our 45th wedding anniversary. The Neon Fish exceeded all our expectations for this experience! We enjoyed the main room for watching waves, whales, seals, and deer. The sound of the waves was so relaxing and the views from every room mesmerizing.Loved the cliff lighting at night and viewing the sunsets and night sky.

Top 10 Stay
This property really lived up to its listing as a top rated VRBO. The views were stunning, and that is an understatement. Kim was very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat. She responded instantly to any small issue. We enjoyed hiking and visited local shops, galleries, and restaurants. People were inviting and friendly wherever we went. Our neighbors had to cut a few trees down, and brought over a beautiful rose from their garden + a lovely bottle of wine from Fort Ross as they were concerned the noise would bother us. Who does that? Such nice people. We highly recommend Neon Fish to anyone wanting to get away from it all at a beautiful location that cannot be topped!

This Places Deserves 20 Stars!
Like many of you, we’ve stayed in the most beautiful places on this planet. This place, though, is in a class of its own. Yes, the home is an architectural gem and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We brought in food and ate every meal there because we saw no reason to waste a single evening of looking out into the wildest, most gorgeous coastline views we have ever seen. Mind you, we’ve stayed in this same area many times, but after spending a week at this place we now know we’ve seen the most magnificent setting of all.

Really amazing experience!
This home is incredible. My husband and and I stayed along with another couple and our experience exceeded expectations. The home design takes full advantage of every fantastic view and even with the open floor plan, provides many areas for solitude. We enjoyed the art throughout the home. Bed linens were awesome. The grounds and foliage surround you with peace and beauty. We enjoyed the family of deer in the morning and the seals swimming in the bay. . Interesting master shower!

Incredible Stay!!!
Absolutely spectacular on every level. Deeply enjoyed the incredible views and all of the amenities. We cooked in the kitchen and had all of the tools we needed. We used the firepit, used the fireplaces, and used the soaking tub. Cannot recommend enough!!!

Don’t want to leave
40th anniversary trip. Husband tore Achilles tendon a month before our trip. He couldn’t do any hiking. Not a big deal NeonFish is beautiful. We saw : Sunny hot days, some overcast, beautiful sunset Many birds, pelican, seagull, crow. Seals, Whale yes a whale !! Deer, Foxes, Lizard, Kayakers, Fishing boats, Big ants and multiple people fishing from the rock and this was all from NeonFish. They have everything you need here, We were soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the ocean !!! You’re even able to watch the waves at night with the spotlight pointing at the ocean. At first my husband was a little upset the TV didn’t work with our cable sign on but he figured it out.. ( he didn’t end up watching much) It was so relaxing ❤️

The house is beautiful and looks just like the photos.. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The owner was extremely responsive when we contacted her for an issue and offered options for resolving the problem immediately. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Beach Stay
The home is just a gem and better than the photos. Note it’s right on the coast so if there are any sudden changes in weather you may experience some bugs. The home is so beautiful and the host so communicative that you may not even mind, but sharing for folks with any sensitivities as was the case for one person in our group.

Amazing Views – Excellent Location The views and location are amazing! That’s what you are paying for. We visited in December with our daughters and had a great time – even with the rain for much of our visit. The check-in process and communication were great. I would encourage the owner to address the following: -Linens: The quality of the bedding could improve along with additional pillows. Also, there are not enough bath and hand towels. The property has a great soaking tub – but only a total of 4 bath towels in the master/primary bedroom. This resulted in a load of laundry each day. -Cleanliness: Needs improvement. For example, lots of cobwebs on the windowsills and the large round ottoman upstairs had numerous stains on it – definitely not inviting to lounge on. We would also suggest an entry mat to prevent tracking debris into the house. -Kitchen: The kitchen has lots of stuff – but not well put together. Sometimes less is more. -Refrigerator: Some people like finding left over and out of date items in the fridge – we do not. My wife dedicated a shelf as “do not use”. Again – we may be unique in this way of thinking. (Other reviews noted that there was left over items – so this was not a surprise) -Overall Maintenance: As a whole – the property has some overdue interior and exterior maintenance items. The owner/manager should address the items noted above to balance the value/price of the experience.

Unique and stunning property
Perched directly on the cliff edge with beautiful views from every room, this property is the quintessential north coast getaway. The home is quiet and romantic - perfect for a getaway with your special someone. At night there are powerful flood lights that illuminate the dramatic ocean waves crashing on the surf - an amazing touch that allows you to enjoy the picturesque vista even at night. The spa room is an absolute highlight with broad roll back doors that open up to for views the pacific cliffs and the crisp sea breeze. The home design is fantastic, magazine worthy and all the appliances and the many fireplaces are super user friendly. My girlfriend and I loved everything about this place and have already recommended it to all our friends. A truly iconic property on the north coast.

Beautiful Getaway
My wife and I and another couple stayed at the Neon fish to celebrate New Years and my wife's 50th birthday. The pictures listed do NOT do the property justice. The grounds are far more beautiful than we expected. The kitchen is well appointed and made staying in and cooking very simple. We will definitely make this trip again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Neon Fish - it exceeded our expectations. The home was comfortable, clean and spacious with plenty of nooks to enjoy the incredible water views. We were able to take a lovely hike to see redwoods, and enjoy the surrounding area. Kim was a communicative host who made sure we had everything we needed. Coastal Awe and Relaxation
We travel every Fall to escape our Houston heat. Neon Fish was the perfect escape. We had only been inside this magnificent home for a few minutes before we were trying to determine when we could come back for another stay. The home itself is even better than the preview photos.
