It's the best place to experience hanok in Jeonju. Great location and awesome service! Host is such a nice and fun person. I'd like to come back with my fam. 방바닥+ 화장실 바닥도 뜨끈뜨끈하고 좋음. 사장님 잘 묵고 갑니다. 감사해요!
Cozy and pleasant stay right in the middle of the Hanok village. Traditional style of house with modern comforts, very clean, host was very helpful and hospitable with check-in, check-out, and had local suggestions for activities and dining. Easy to get around, and happy to recommend.
The room was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. The Summer had a loft with plenty of space. The workmanship of all the woodwork was breathtaking such a tension to detail made you really feel comfortable. The room was right in the middle of the village which made life really easy for shopping and eating. I give this place 100 stars if I could.
Host was so kind to recommend local attractions and restaurants based on what we were looking for. Breakfast tray in the morning was great! You have a beautiful place, hoping you’ll maintain it so more people can experience the Hanok living.
What i didn't like is the issue on not being able to find it because the taxi driver does not know the place. A good landmark is the PNB bakery at Jeonju Hanok Village which is walking distance to the property.
Samnakheon was such a lovely and spacious hanok to stay in! We got the Summer room and loved every bit of it, from the incredible hospitality and friendliness of the owner and staff, to the cleanliness and modernity of the hanok - which made it a joy to return to every day. Having an ensuite bathroom also makes things much more convenient. We only had breakfast in the hanok on one of the days, and the owner was kind enough to cater to our changing requests as we changed breakfast plans a couple times. The breakfast was a simple fare but made with lots of love. We also faced issues with the wifi connection, and they were quick to fix it the next morning. Would love to come back to Samnakheon again the next time I visit Jeonju!
The Hanok is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Excellent location! The hosts were amazing. They warmly greeted us, immediately sat us down, showed us a map and told us what to do, where to go and what to eat! They made us a wonderful Breakfast both mornings. I was touched as our train left very early yet, they woke up early to make us breakfast and ordered a taxi for us. 10/10
In the heart of Hanok villege yet quiet. Great coffee shop is right next door. Friendly staff. Very clean and equipped with good size fridge & Korean water filter system.
Place is managed by a gentleman and an elderly lady. Very helpful and cheerful guy. Lots of good restaurant recommendations from him.
Goes out of his way to assist me despite the language barrier.
The stay was amazing. Came here with my husband to experience the traditional home style. The place was clean, organized and super cute. I have a very certain phobia about restroom being dirty, however, this place provide super clean private restroom. The owner was very welcoming, recommended us where to go and what to eat. Every morning the owner served a cute breakfast. I will definitely come back next time i visit.
It's right in the middle of the village so super accessible. It was really clean with simple breakfast each morning. You could see how well kept the place was from your first step in.
Owner was friendly and helpful giving us tips where to go and what to eat. His wife owns a hanbok rental with good quality and beautiful pieces. Price was very reasonable. She does your hair and makes sure your are presentable top to toe including right shoes. Even did a mini photoshoot for us. Helped us to flag a cab to the train station on our last day as we can't speak Korean.
Highly recommend.
