This was our first trip to Antigua and stay at the Jolly Beach and it did not disappoint. If you want a quiet place to relax, enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches, and eat great food then this is the place for you!

The beach is 10/10 , it’s literally the nicest beach I’ve seen on the island .. all the food has been so delicious, we walked to a restaurant once just to try it which is nice to be able to walk to things like stores and restaurants

When we got to the resort there was issues with power failure and internet failure. We were to have meet and greet with the staff which never materialized, hence we were never told what was available to us or when it was available. It was a constant guessing game and missed opportunity to make reservations for dinner when it was needed or if it was needed. We had to constantly been going to the temporary customer service desk which was understaffed.

The only negative was the bad internet,non in my room and always got disconnected in main lobby.buffet was only available at dinner three times a week.The beach was one of the best beaches I ever had at a hotel and one of the best on the island.

I am unsure how to review this resort. On one hand the staff was great. Pool was nice. Beach and water were fantastic. Very affordable. Drinks were good. On the other hand, internet did not work well in the rooms only common areas. Rooms / resort very out dated, clean but outdated. Food was a struggle. You don't have many choices especially for lunch. What we ate was good especially all of the chicken, but there isn’t much choice and you have a small schedule. We went during off season and there was only 20-30 people total at the whole resort. I don't think they are staffed well to handle many more than this. Maybe they make adjustments during peak season. There is literally nothing to do at night and sunset is around 530pm. No clubs, no entertainment, barely a game room with a ping pong table and pool table. Dinner stops around 9pm. Only thing to do all night is sit around the bar and drink. There is lots of potential at this place. And signs they are trying to improve it. I think it is years out We took a taxi from airport instead of paying for a shuttle service. Much cheaper and easier. It was $50 USD each way. We rented water crafts from guys on the beach and that was a waste, machines were in poor shape. The resort provided kayak was good. The floaties in the water were nice to lounge on. Lots of beach chairs. In summary i guess, if you are heading to the island and need an affordable getaway i would recommend. Just keep expectations on low end and not expect ‘luxury’

Sure, they're under construction, but the property is beautiful! My room was automatically upgraded when I checked in which was such a lovely surprise. They helped me carry my bags to the room. The staff are extremely kind and friendly. The food was delicious and I loved all of the different options available. They have different themes each night, live music, 3 bars etc. The beach was stunning, soft fine sand, massages on the beach available, easy to go for a swim, AC and a fan in the room, plus a balcony with chairs and a chaise. I was actually very impressed with my stay. I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Jolly Beach!

The customer service is great. The property is dated. The property is clean, but dated. The staff is great.. but if you looking for good food. Nope. The breakfast is okay. But dinner is not there thang. The chef needs to step up the game. I will return but hopefully the dinner will be better.

The property is very old. The room was very tiny. The nightstand and dresser was made for concrete. I have never seen anything like that before. The stairwell and walkway was very dirty. That property really needs to be updated. Thankfully we only booked one night just to check out this place. I will not stay again until some major upgrades have been done. The breakfast was good I had vegetarian omelet with toast and coffee.

I loved playing volleyball however the condition of the ball was not great but that was the ONLY thing to keep us from being EXTREMELY BORED!! The pool bar closed at 4:45p, the pool closed at 7p. You have to walk far to get a drink. ALL of the drinks and food were freaking delicious! However, there was NO ENTERTAINMENT NO ACTIVITIES! There was nothing to do on the resort! You are FORCED to do excursions to keep yourself entertained, happy etc. the staff was absolutely amazing!! There was no water for a few hours and then we did not have any hot water for like 3 days it was horrible! The taxi was $40 from the airport and back. The room was not as big as we have hoped. But they kept it clean. Antigua was so beautiful the pools the beaches everything and you feel safe! But I will not be returning because of the resort.
