Snuggle up by the fireplace or relax in the hot tub, surrounded by woods and a stream on a real working farm. This genuine log cabin is located just five minutes from Interstate 77, tucked away in the foothills of North Carolina's Yadkin Valley Wine Region.
Guests soak up modern day luxuries while returning to a simpler time by enjoying rocking chairs or a swing on a front porch, while planning the next days' adventure. Visit Mayberry, Stone Mountain, Pilot Knob, or even the filming sight of The Longest Ride. Other attractions include numerous wineries and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent restaurants in the area combine great food and unique experiences. Many antique stores are available for "treasure seekers" in nearby Elkin, Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Fairview.
Fall brings colorful mountain views, the Autumn Leaves Festival (approximately 200,000 visitors) in Mount Airy and twice a year (Memorial Day and Labor Day) a huge "Hillsville, Virginia Flea Market"(enticing more than 500,000 people to the area).

Fantastic aplace
The cabin was wonderful and full of character. Unfortunately, this was just a stop on a much longer trip because we would have loved to have stayed longer. It is just a few minutes from I-77. It was fully stocked and filled with things to explore and articles to read. We loved it. If we ever go back to that part of North Carolina again, we will definitely stay here again.

Name of Cabin Says it All!
We truly loved this cabin and it's location! Cozy is the correct word to describe it and it's tucked away on a farm, very secluded! The hostess was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions. The snacks, coffee and creamers were wonderful. The bathroom amenities were a nice, added touch. Absolutely loved the big porch swing and rocking chairs on the porch. We enjoyed the Hot Tub too! We are HUGE Mayberry/Andy Griffith fans and the town is nearby, so we were very glad there was a DVD player with the TV because we brought our Black & White Andy Griffith DVDs to catch up on our trivia. We took the Squad Car Tour, ate at Barney's and went to the museum. The next day we went to Pilot Mountain and hiked around it. Hope to return one day!

Perfect.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cabin. The decor was perfect for a cabin on a farm. Quiet creek with lots of birds, friendly squirrels and even saw a Gopher for the first time in our lives. Porch swings and rocking chairs were used EVERY day as well as the Hot Tub which was perfect after Hiking Pilot Mtn, a full day of hiking in Elkin and walked a full day in Mount Airy exploring. Resturants and grocery not far in Dobson. Easy drive to Pilot Mtn, Mt. Airy and Elkin. Host Shera was quickly responsive to any questions. Would stay here again.

A little get away

We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary . We loved this cabin , it was away from everything . We enjoyed the privacy and the quietness we had . The owner was very nice and helpful. The cabin was very clean , plenty of towels, wash cloths and other things for us to use . It reminds me of a cabin on an Hallmark movie . It deserves higher than 5 star , this place is more than that to me . It is decorated so pretty , hot tub was nice . We will defiantly stay here again .

18th Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. Cabin is not far from I-77, but you would never know it because of how peaceful it is. You can see and hear the creek from the back porch (from the hot tub). Cabin is clean and well cared for. Host has great communication and is very kind. A great spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding communities of Dobson and Mount Airy.

If only the heirlooms and photos could talk. Oh the stories they would tell. The decor, cleanliness, checking in and check out were top notch. Super, Super !! We are from the country, but at home the country keeps us busy. The stay was for our 25 wedding anniversary. We loved the peace and quiet time we had with each other.
