If you are looking for the ultimate West Coast experience complete with pristine ocean views and soaring eagles than Chinook Cottage is the oceanfront property for you. Enjoy the wild West Coast from your own private deck as you sit overlooking the waters edge and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty at the end of West Coast Highway.

Chinook Cottage has a fully furnished kitchen complete with all the necessary cooking utensils, a gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. We have both a Keurig and a coffee maker so that you can start your morning off right as well as a gas fireplace, gas barbeque and propane fire pit on the deck to enjoy at the end of your day. Adding to your comfort are two bathrooms complete with two separate showers.

A 52 inch Smart TV that includes both Cable and Netflix is available to you as well as assorted board games, books about Vancouver Island and a pair of binoculars to spot the varied wildlife that is the stunning backdrop to our cottage.

Fishing, hiking and adventure are world renown in Port Renfrew and the wild West Coast as well as paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing. Explore both the West Coast Trail and the Juan de Fuca trail stopping at the tide pools at Botanical Beach or discovering Canada's gnarliest tree in Avatar Grove. Finish your day at the Port Renfrew Pub with a beer and a fabulous dinner.

Amazing views!
This unit is a 4 plex. Shared balcony, but separated by metal. Noise travel across the balcony including crying children and loud TVS. A one floor unit, car parks in front. Balcony view over Port Renfrew is amazing! Lots of room, on the balcony comfortable outdoor chairs. . The unit is quite new, and finished well. We did not enjoy the couch, where the seats are sloped downwards. The sofa bed doesn’t seem to fit in well. The other living room chairs are low and require a cushion at the back. Liked reading the books available in the unit. The bathroom in the master bathroom only has one ceiling fluroscent light, ceiling shower light is burnt out and there is no vanity light in this bathroom. Bathroom lighting in the master bathroom is terrible. Also, the water flow in the shower is very poor. Great fireplace, good climate controls. Overall Port Renfrew natural beauty is stunning but the services are really lacking. Poor signage, very limited restaurant hours and a very basic general store. Absolutely, must take everything you need. A lot of people go up there, but I got the feeling most of the locals just wish you would go home. The most enjoyable hosts were the Australians working at the Port Renfrew Pub!
