We were on an anniversary trip and stayed over at this property one night. The neighborhood and setting, including the small live creek out back were very nice. The nearby hamlet of June Lake is a really nice plus as well.
This is a managed property, i.e., no communication with the owner, etc., and we weren't able to get responses via email - we discovered on the day of our stay that the best bet is to call the management office for keys, access, etc.
We were a little surprised that this was a condo, not a house, but that may be due to terminology provided by the VRBO website, not sure. It is adjoined to an identical unit, but it was unoccupied while we were there. The condo needs some updating, in that the screen doors were worn out and couldn't lock, and it could use a fresh coat of paint. However, overall for a one-night stay it worked ok for us.
Make sure if you plan to have meals there that you bring EVERYTHING. While there are plenty of kitchen plates, cups, utensils, pots/pans, etc., there was not anything there insofar as normal kitchen essentials such as coffee filters, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Most disappointing was that there was not a working coffee pot in the house. We mentioned this important item to management when we checked out, and they indicated they would remedy that problem.
Overall, not a bad place to stay, for sure if just an overnighter. It is very close to the east entrance of Yosemite, which was our destination, and the little town of June Lake is very cool.
