Lakefront Mountain Retreat is located 2.8 miles on the June Lake Loop (Highway 158) from Highway 395. A short walk to June Lake Marina, Gull Lake Marina and Park, shopping and restaurants, and within driving distance to June Mountain (1.6 miles), Mammoth Mountain (20.4 miles), and Yosemite National Park (25.2 miles).
Enjoy the beautiful Eastern Sierra's year-round with trout fishing, hiking, skiing/snowboarding, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, horseback riding, off-roading, hunting, and many other outdoor adventures. The city of June Lake is quaint with friendly locals and lots of visitors looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.
The Space
The condo is a three-story end unit with waterfront views of June Lake from all three levels. You'll enter from the second floor into the living room with an expansive gas fireplace and a sliding glass door that walks out to the balcony that includes a BBQ, and comfortable sitting area to enjoy the views.
Downstairs you'll find two bedrooms; the primary bedroom with one queen bed, the second bedroom with one queen bed and a twin/double bunk bed. Downstairs you'll also find a washer and dryer, and a bathroom.
Off of the kitchen is another bathroom, and a ladder that takes you up to the camp themed loft with four twin beds (bed with trundle and bunk beds) perfect for all the little ones traveling with you.
The condo comes with one assigned parking space. The complex offers three additional first come first serve parking spaces, and there is street parking available.
Guest Access and Security
Guests have full access to the condo and will receive a code to enter the condo prior to arrival. Guests will not have access to the garage.
Dogs are welcome (2 dog maximum), there will be a $75 pet fee per pet. There is a grass field in the complex for your dogs to run around and do their business. Please always pick up after your pets.
There are two security camera's on the property. One outside above the front door, and one in the back of the property looking out onto the marsh and lake. Your privacy is important to us, there are no cameras located inside the property. The cameras are used for security purposes only.
Occasionally due to heavy snowfall, June Lake Loop will be closed. When June Lake Loop is closed, guests can take June Lake Beach Road to get to Highway 395. During snow season, depending on your vehicle, it may be necessary to have snow chains to comply with CalTrans chain requirements.

Spring, Summer, and Fall
Trout Fishing Season on the June Lake Loop is the last Saturday in April to November 15th. California Fishing License is required for anyone 16 years and older. Enjoy fishing all the lakes on the June Lake Loop; June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, and Grant Lake.
Kayaks and Stand-Up Paddle Boards can be enjoyed at all the lakes on the June Lake Loop. Enjoy the rope swing at Gull Lake that requires a short hike, or jump off the rocks on June Lake, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Water sports (Water-skiing, wake-boarding and personal watercraft) are permitted on Grant Lake after 10:00am.
Horseback Riding at Frontier Pack Train offers a unique and immersive experience offering daily guided trail rides in the summer months.
Nearby top-rated hiking trails for all levels of hikers: Reversed Peak Loop Trail, Yost & Fern Lake Trail, Rainbow Falls via Devils Postpile, Parker Lake Trail, Lower Falls via Devils Postpile, Rush Creek Trail to Agnew Lakes, and Gull Lake Shore Nature Trail.
June Lake offers a spectacular display of fall colors. The colors usually start changing as early as late August in the higher elevations, and you'll start to see them along the June Lake Loop from mid-September all the way through October.

Winter
June Mountain, known as California's Family Mountain, offers family friendly terrain and uncrowded slopes at an elevation of 10,090 feet at the highest point. Kids 12 and under ski free.
Located a short distance from the June Lake Loop on Highway 395 you can rent snowmobiles from DJ's Snowmobile Adventures.
Mammoth Mountain known for some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the United States is a short drive from June Lake. Mammoth Mountain boasts the highest lift-served summit in California at 11,053 feet.
