We loved watching the waves crash on shore. Great views from the resort. Also, the property is close to an amazing golf course and because we stayed at the resort we received a discount on the golfing fees.

The pool and manta viewing is amazing. When they say resort view it’s actually the parking lot not a garden. And it’s really loud and echoing with all the car alarms and locks sounding off. The staff seemed more stressed as it got busier. I don’t think they have enough staff for a large rush. Love the water bottles and the activities. The cultural centre was incredible. Wish we had taken advantage of more of the activities!

Amazing hotel with amazing views
Kona Outrigger was a fantastic hotel. From check-in (shout out to Michael for setting everything up) to check out, the hotel delivered. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. You could tell that the hotel wasn't new, but it was keep very well and the grounds were beautiful. There were 2 pools, one for families and one for adults. The view were spectacular and we were also able to see the manta rays at night while we watched the snorkelers. Overall, it was a 10, and we would absolutely stay there again.

If events are happening at the convention center parking for guests could be challenging. Scuba divers use hotel parking also. Paying $25 a day not sure if you’ll have a space is concerning. Overall the resort was beautiful, the Mantas viewing excellent. Room service was great! Didn’t notice many guests during our stay. I feel like a room with a view would have made our Birthday trip more special .

I can watch the Manta Rays fishs from my deck, or from the hotel platform with lights, especially while the touring fish watching boats left. The big fishs came to the water surface and towards the lights. Its very enjoyable! I will tell my friends if they would like to see the special fishs from land.

This is an amazing property, I came in for business and met with friendly and helpful staff. If you're looking for a property that has everything for solo or family travel this is it. There is a market, restaurant and bar on-site as well as pools for children (with a slide) and adults. My room was huge compared to most properties I've stayed at, nice and quiet, balcony and had a great view of the ocean. I would stay here again.
