I was given a handicap accessible room. That is good for people that need it. I am not disabled. Showering was a mess with water going all over the bathroom floor. I definitely didn't have a good stay at Hampton Inn.

ratty furniture in the room and a torn Up hassock- I would have thrown in the garbage. 2-3 lamps in room were broken- and just leaned against the walls so lamp shade would not fall off. Since I have a handicap (I use a mobility walker), a room's accessibility is very important to me. Of course, I reserved a room that said it was "handicap-accessible". In advance of staying at this property, I asked if the room had a grab-bar next to the toilet, and they assured me that it did. But when I arrived at the room, it had NO grab-bar next to the toilet. Furthermore, the toilet was not handicap-height. It was very low. The shower was also advertised as being handicap-accessible. Indeed, it did have a bath bench. But there was only one grab-bar in the shower/bath. And the floor of the bathtub was very slippery. Thus, I had a difficulty time maneuvering in the bathroom which was disappointing because I had made it a point to ask them several times before I stayed at the hotel.

Great Place to Stay
Our stay was great! The room was clean, it was quiet at night, and the staff was friendly, efficient and excellent. The only issue is are the rooms...they definitely need a makeover. The footstool in our room was in horrible condition and so was the headboard.
