When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was not around for a couple minutes which is fine and to be expected, but upon his approaching the desk, he was anything but friendly or cordial: not a hello, nothing, fine, possibly a bad day, so I got the key and went on my way, finding what seemed like a moderately clean room until we were there for a while, then I saw the FILTHY floors which turned my husbands socks BLACK, I also cleaned up some dead bugs on the air conditioning unit, there is also a fair amount of dust everywhere. Plus, upon getting out of the tub, my husband slipped, falling against the side and also hitting his head on the toilet because of the bad no slip strips in the tub. To end this trip, upon checkout, the same gentleman asked how tall I am-I am short, 4’7”-and then he actually had the nerve to ask
if I was a “little person”! I was VERY insulted and surprised at this thoughtless question. No, I am NOT a “little person, and to be ask d such a question is quite rude and demeaning. Train this unthinking, and RUDE man to be a bit more personable when dealing with the public!!! At first, we thought this would be a good spot to stay when visiting our children, but considering all this, we will NOT be back!
