"The room worked very well for three of us! It was clean, well outfitted, sufficiently spacious, with comfortable beds/seating, and having in room laundry facilities was great. It’s a short walk to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, two train stops, and a lot of food/coffee/shop options. This was a great base for exploring Kyoto."

"The lobby and hallway are a little cramped and dated, but don't be fooled; they hide a clean, comfortable hotel room 5 minutes from the keihan line and 15 minutes from fushimi inari shrine. The staff were very kind and were patient with my slow Japanese as I checked in. Really a lovely stay."

"Very nice Royukan the sauna and hot bath were excellent and great for relaxing after a long and VERY cold day. Facility was a little beat up but probably because it’s been there for a while but it adds to its beauty. Could see the river from my room, had beautiful views of the mountain as well. "
