An inexpensive motel close to the hospital. Not too far from the downtown. One thing to note, when booking a room make sure to ask for a non- smoking room. We didn’t and ended up with a smoking room. Luckily the smell wasn’t too bad but if you are sensitive it might be a problem.

The motel was as described and good value for a overnight during a long drive. It was easy to find and centrally located. It had a Denny's next to it so very handy. We had continental breakfast included which was a bonus.

Stay anywhere else. For the love of God.
Check in was speedy and professional, but that's about the only thing I can give any sort of praise for. For starters, my bathroom didn't have hand soap provided. There was "reminents" of the previous room occupancy in the bathroom sink. The air was humid and foul smelling when I first entered, with the air conditioning on it was better but I've never heard an AC unit so loud. Impossible to sleep with it on and impossible to sleep with it off. At least the sound of the AC unit drowned out the noise from the road. The spout of the tub was loose and uncaulked, making the pin for turning on the shower tricky. Pulling the pin made the entire spout move maybe 4-5 inches, and even then the diverter valve wasn't fully engaged. I had to hold the spout with one hand and pull the pin with the other. Other nitpicky things to ad, the bathroom floor tile was loose and oddly sticky, the sheets felt gross and there weren't any extras. My power went out when using the microwave, but came back after a short wait. The breakfast room wasn't available before 7 and I start my shifts at 6:30 so no hope of the continental breakfast. This might seem like I am exaggerating but I am not. I didn't think to take pictures of how awful my room was. I will be avoiding the Howard Johnson like the plague from now on.
