We enjoyed Parry Lodge, it was quiet and pretty. However there is only one ice machine on the property and it was a long walk to get it. Also, there are NO plug-ins for electronic equipment chargers, at least there weren't in the area we were in. No laundromat on site. The beds were comfortable, the fridge was good-sized. Would stay there again IF the room had plug-ins for charging cords.

The lodge is old school cool. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The property layout is great and the staff is wonderful.

This review isn't the best. First I want to say the staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up in the two story part of the motel and I wasn't expecting that. Large rat traps are located throughout the exterior of the property. That wouldn't be a problem but the doors to the building don't close completely and allow room for a rodent to enter. That being said I didn't see any in the building while we were there. The room that we had would drop debris from the attic access onto the toilet and floor in the bathroom every time you opened or shut the bathroom door. That was troubling. The first morning the $8.00 breakfast was good but the breakfast was ice cold the second morning. The staff did refund our money for the second day breakfast and explained they had a breakdown in the warming table that morning. I might stay again but only if we were able to secure one of the individual cabins.

The lodge is centrally located in town. Overall it’s a good lodge. It has its good points, but also it could use improvement in others. Pros: Foremost, the staff is exceptionally friendly. It is centrally located, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Cons: There was no working electrical outlet in the bathroom. The shower head didn’t have enough adjustment, it couldn’t be adjusted low enough. A hand held shower head would be a good option. The breakfast had problems. The morning we went there wasn’t any salt and pepper. The plates were so cold that by the time you get back to your table, the food was cold. They ran out of some food items.
