Nice hotel close to many shops and food places. Walkable to train station but bus is also convenient. Hotel is on main city bus loop. Breakfast had good options.

The hotel is a classic old hotel with amazing location. The breakfast is only Japanese and not very good, but the rooms are spacious for Japan.

It was clean but the bed was uncomfortable and there was only one pillow. There is a free breakfast. People seemed to like it but it looked unappetizing to me. For a budget hotel it is good but for a midrange hotel it is below APA and the like. The location is great though.

Great chain hotel
Really reasonably priced accommodation - so cheap! Small room but did the job and perfectly fine for our family of 4. Firm beds but typical for Japanese. Breakfast was good and included for all guests. Grab your own amenities from the lobby. Free shuttle to and from train station at certain times. Right on main shopping street and walkable to main locations with bus stop right outside. Definitely would stay in a Toyoko Inn again for a budget friendly stay.

The hotel is only a short walk away from the Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokouen Park, one of the most beautiful park to visit in Japan

I can't recommend enough! The hotel is strategically located - few bus stops from the station and walking distance from all the interesting sites. The room was very clean, the facilities great. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast, Japanese, was generous and full of yummy stuff. I would stay there again and wholeheartedly recommend it ;-)

Location!
The hotel is a solid choice and the location can’t be beat. We were close to everything. Although our room was small we had everything we needed. The hotel also has a shuttle to the train station. Not sure how to pick it up at the station (we took the city bus), but the shuttle was great for our return trip. Many shops and excellent restaurants nearby. Both castle and gardens are a short walk from the hotel.
