God Bless the Staff but It’s a Nope
The facility has been moderately updated but to don’t get your hopes up. The area was host to some sort of dart tournament or convention. The entire hotel was subject to the level of civility that you could expect in a local pub or loud, rambunctious, smoke-filled dive bar. The fog of smoke permeated all the halls, elevators and lobby. The staff was intimidated or hesitant to intervene and not at all in a good predicament. Heated domestic arguments could be enjoyed while walking to your rooms as well as the sound of shattering glass, a loud boom and violent thud as large grown men playfully wrestled outside one of our rooms and broke the 3’x3’ glass fire extinguisher case. “Oh sh¡t! Grab your bag before someone comes out.” Staff responded but timidly waited about 15 mins before diligently vacuuming all shards of glass directly outside our door. The room was clean, the outlets oddly placed and overloaded with octopus extension devises that surely get removed when the fire marshal arrives for inspections. The lines smell like dank hotel linens. Just know what you’re minimum standards are when you book this place out of convenience.

The property was fine although the parking lot was being worked on while we were there. We paid for a buffet breakfast on a Sunday morning (2x$15 each) that was horrible. No eggs, hash browns or sausage as bins were empty. The pancakes were like rocks and inedible. We paid for a breakfast that others include for free - but much better quality. My wife and I agreed it was the worst breakfast we had ever had in our many many years of traveling. I seldom write bad reviews but in this case it was "earned".

Bed was actually lumpy. Nice linens and all appeared clean. They offered a complimentary bottle of water which was very welcome. Checking in staff was not friendly. I was told the restaurant was still there though. When I went to check out I stupidly thought I'd have late brunch early lunch. It was a buffet which the staff had raided while I was in the restaurant. I thought, no problem, I'd just order off the menu. They didn't offer this and in fact, closed until 4pm. No other dining in area without a car.
