Good enough but staff was untrained
My son and I were there for a very brief stay before an early morning baseball game. The front desk employee was severely untrained on how to check in a prepaid room and at 1:30 am it was super annoying to wait for her to learn from whoever she had to FaceTime and wake up. When we got to the room it smelled pretty musty but seemed very clean and the beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast was decent and definitely welcome before leaving again at 7 am.

We had a large clean room. The breakfast was good. I only gave it 4 stars because the couch matresses were so bad. Overall a great stay!

The room and hotel were clean and the staff was friendly. It was an okay stay. However the deadbolt on the door would not lock and the stay was noisy. We were on the second floor and were woken several times from the noise above us and doors slamming in the hall.

The freeway exit for the hotel was closed. Called the hotel to find out directions for an alternate route to the hotel but the person on the desk could not provide any directions. Through trial & error somehow found it The hotel was not full however we were given a room that had a shower with a drain that did not work and the water seeped into the whole bath area and to the suite area that was tiled. When we complained to the front desk they were already aware of the problem. Since they were already aware, why did they choose to rent out this room to us instead of a room without a drainage issue? This was not up to the standards we had been told we could expect from Holiday Express Suites.

There is a lovely restaurant close, rooms clean and the bed was comfortable. The room did have a strong antiseptic smell but that could be my only critique.
