Besides the kinds running around unsupervised and extremely loud (walls are very thin, front desk tried to help but the parents let them continue on), our stay here was great. Beautifully decorated interior, kind and helpful staff, and probably one of the easiest, most seamless hotel experiences I’ve had as far as checking in/out, early arrival accommodations, and navigating our way to and from our room.
The downside is the area, specifically the bigger part of the parking lot next to the burger joint that is in the same lot (it appeared to be a bar/club at night). All was fine for us, however, getting back from a concert at midnight we saw a man putting his gun in his waistband as we entered the parking lot and then drove past someone showing off some type of semi-automatic gun in the back parking area as well. We found the last spot in that lot that’s closer to the hotel and we had no issues, but the next morning I don’t think other guests were as lucky. There is a warning about parking at your own risk, however, I would highly suggest the hotel consider gating their parking area for their guests.
