Hotel itself was great. Just had an issue with our rental car getting broke into and that same evening another guests car was actually stolen. We were told it happens all the time, yet the hotel still doesn't have cameras in the parking lot. Also, our car was parked within view of the front desk, so it's hard to believe they didn't see anything happening. The staff was good about tell us about the issue before we actually saw the vehicle, but not a great way to start a vacation.

Good location, very helpful staff. The only con was that my bathroom did not have a bathtub, just a shower, but with a shower curtain instead of a glass panel, which caused water to spill all over the bathroom.

Location was convenient for a wedding I attended but it's a sleepy part of town. Very quiet street with zero night life and nothing to do. Carpets and bathroom floor could be cleaner but it was a decent sized room, good cable TV options, and comfortable bed.

The property was great! It was comfortable, clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, resourceful, and helpful. The hotel is near the fun things to do in downtown Kansas City, which was important to us with a toddler in need of family-friendly activities.

The night desk manager wasn’t the friendliest person I’ve come across. This is a no-smoking property and the first thing I see when entering the bldg is the same manager smoking right at the entrance. He disappeared from the desk for a few minutes then making us wait for some reason. Not a good first impression. The hotel, otherwise was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean.

I recently had one of the worst hotel experiences in a long time. While the gentleman at check-in was friendly and polite, it was clear he was exhausted and overwhelmed, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. The first room we were given was nothing short of disgusting. There was active mold in the shower, hair on the pillows, paint missing on the walls, a pervasive musty smell, and the floor was filthy. We immediately returned to the front desk to request a refund, but the agent informed us that he needed to consult his manager. Unfortunately, the manager was "on a work call" and unavailable to assist. Since they refused to refund our money, we were moved to another room that was only marginally better. In the end, the experience was so bad that we regretted not spending a little extra to stay somewhere else. DO NOT book this hotel. Save yourself the trouble and spend a few more dollars on a place that values cleanliness and customer service.
