WE GOT BEDBUGS FROM STAYING AT THIS HOTEL A WEEK AGO!! We spent three nights at this property and, although we were supposed to have our room made up each day, we didn't get any housekeeping the entire time we were there. I told the front desk each day and we still didn't get fresh towels and no one cleaned the room. The manager said they would refund us the cost of one night but that hasn't happened. Also, the phone in the room didn't work, which I reported on the first day, so when I needed to talk to the front desk I had to call on my cell phone through their outside line. They said they would fix it immediately, but it was never fixed. This place is just the WORST!

My only complaint was paying $26 a night for parking. I would have parked across the street in free parking had I known. I self parked in the hotel garage. I was there less than 24 hours and had to pay $52 for parking my own car.

We had two rooms, they were supposed to be on the same floor - but they weren’t. The rooms were dirty. The patio doors were broken, the fire alarm was disconnected, the patio was filthy, and the room was much smaller than pictured (we were in the Presidential Suite). The cleaning crew failed to make-up our room on two nights of our stay. One of the elevators was broken, and the other ones stunk of cleaning fluid. They elevators took forever, and the indoor pool area was unkept with missing ceiling tiles and exposed wires. The Gym had an issue, and big portable fans were drying something out - but it wasn’t appealing to think that mold spores might be floating around in the gym. There were some nice staff members, such as Eric the facilities guy. He tried to make everything better that he could. He was great, helpful and friendly. That being said, the people I was with made it a nice trip, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there again.

This is my third time staying at this Hilton. The location in the Plaza is walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The fitness center is updated and modern. The outdoor pool is nice. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. I love the parking garage under the hotel. I will stay at this hotel every time I visit KC.
