Everything is in good condition..! Spacious bed and you will have a small cubby next to your bed, enough to put your water, book, make-up or etc.. You dont have to worry where to put your luggage because there is a space under the locker for you to put your luggage.. And you can even hang you clothes! common area at level 2 and level 9 are awesome! Toilet and shower? Its clean..! I stayed in 3 different place during my taiwan trip, this hostel is the best!
The rooms are quite small, so there’s not a lot of space left after all the luggage’s been “stored”. The beds, however, are decent sized with power outlets and small fans for each bed. All in all, nice enough for a day or two, which was exactly what I needed for my trip! The staff was super helpful!
Everyone was friendly and the place is perfect for solo traveller like me. Just 1 minor incident when I was stuck inside the elevator and have to use to intercom to call for help. I hate elevators that suddenly stops working. Overall, I will come back and stay in this hotel again.
I was only here for 1 night but it was lovely! About a 2 minute walk from the metro and in an area with a lot of shipping and food! There is a night market as well, but the good night market is just a metro ride away. The hostel was big, the beds were spacious, comfortable and private, and the top bunks had stairs to them instead of a ladder which was awesome. Wifi was great and the bathrooms were clean. There seemed to be karaoke nightly in the basement, but I didn't have a chance to go. I had a great but short stay here, and I'd definitely stay here again if I ever return to Kaohsiung!
Not bad. Staff were pleasant. Only thing is maybe check in time can be earlier. 1600 for check in timing seems a little late. WiFi was good but not strong at level 9. But still usable so no complaints.
Located conveniently close the Central Park MRT station, Backpackers Inn helped me enjoy my Kaohsiung experience immensely. My suite room was perfect-- clean, well-maintained and funky cool. They have pm karaokes and a nice rooftop lounge and the staff were so very helpful. Thank you!
We had a standard double room for 2 nights. Room was decent and clean. Rooftop has 2 washing machines and 2 dryers which is good if you need to do laundry. The dryer's high heat is really high so watch out if your clothes cannot take high temperature. Breakfast is alright with 2 choices of sandwich, but it may be repeated everyday. It is a rather crowded hostel (for a thursday / friday night) so you might feel less homely.
Easy to arrive, great location, helpful staffs, the only Cons is the free breakfast is just a blueberry bagel and tea, not privide buffet breakfast like other youth hotel / hostel I stayed during my trip in Taiwan.
Convenient location, near the train station. Facilities are also clean and comfortable. Just that the bunk beds are pretty bousy and it is very loud when someone walks up or down, can be awaken easily.
