Great hotel. Modern, clean, Japanese toilet and good breakfast. Close to the night market too. Will definitely stay here if in town again.

The hotel is very clean, smell fresh and very good location(safe) , near formosa station where u can see dome of light (stain glass) for free( exit 1near the hotel) , back of the hotel is the liuhe night market , near 7-11 and beside the hotel is a 24hr grocery. The breakfast menu is change everyday , very delicious (both taiwanese and western). Free ice cream, coffee, water and cookies for 24 hours, the ice cream are delicious, its nice to have some ice cream after a long day sightseeing. Free use of washer ( free laundry soap) and dryer( but does not dry ), need to go out next door for drying. The rooms are big and clean, the bathroom is big and clean with bidet. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and wound definitely come back and stay here again.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the complementary breakfast and tea service was enjoyable. We spent time in the dinning room after our daily adventures and it was a pleasant way to unwind. The hotel was also walkable to both the Red and Orange Metro lines. Our room included a couch, side table and chair, along with a full length mirror. There was plenty of space to open two clamshell luggages.

Very happy with my stay in this hotel
We have an amazing experience in this hotel from start to end. We do not have to wait for 3pm to check in, then get upgraded to bigger room. The hotel offers free breakast, unlimited ice cream. My favorites are taro and matcha. Unlimited coffee, teas and drirnks. Unlimited biscuits and above all free laundry and powder soaps. I can not find fault in this hotel. The ladies at the reception are very accommodating and helpful. 100% will recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff service is excellent. Go the extra miles to ask if require further aids. Dinning area is also open after breakfast to allow guest to rest or dine with the provided drinks, biscuit and ice cream while waiting for your washer/dryer. May want to bring your clothes to the laundromat just around the hotel for dryer for quick drying. Hotel is really great.

This hotel is very old, close to the main road, very noisy, especially at night and in the morning. The complimentary breakfast is decent, and the hotel front desk staff are nice.

We stayed at the Kindness Hotel following a three day cycling tour. It was the perfect place to recover because it is about 5-10 minutes away from the Formosa subway station. It offers free laundry facilities, free breakfast, free drinks and snacks, and free ice cream 24/7. Yes, free ice cream! The staff is very friendly, and the hotel is very clean. We highly recommend the Kindness Hotel.

This was a great find and a very good base for our stay in Kaohsiung. Friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms are comfortable, very well equipped and the complimentary breakfast and all day snacks are a welcome bonus. Just around the corner is the Liouhe night market which offers some great eating choices and the Formosa metro station is a 5 - 10 minute walk.
