A206 - Nice view but musky/moldy smell..
We have stayed at this resort in the past so we were looking forward to another wonderful visit. A206 has lovely ocean views right out in front. Unfortunately we were met with a very musky/moldy smell coming from one of the bathrooms in our unit. We immediately notified the property manager and although they agreed that they could also smell the foul smell there was nothing that could be done without intruding on our space during our stay to open walls and find the cause. The management offered us compensation of 5% of our room cost, but to compound the issue we encountered poor weather on this stay which forced us into our room more then we ever expected to be in there. This forced us to have to deal with the foul smell more then we would have liked and felt that the compensation for essentially cutting us off from half of our unit due to foul smell that made us gag when near, it fell short of what we thought was fair.

Perfect vacation. Beautiful property, oceanfront location. Watched the sunrise every morning. Loved the pool with lazy river and waterfalls. King beds, comfortable sofa. Everything worked and no issued. Exceeded our expectations. Will stay again next trip to Kauai.

Overall top quality place. Clean, well stocked kitchen as far as plates, cookware etc. beautiful view from the unit, and very nicely decorated. Only downfall was lack of front desk staff to answer questions, and the 4 BBQ grills are not near enough for most evenings if you plan on staying in for dinner. Usually a wait to cook and the grills don’t get very hot so cooking takes awhile. But we made it work. Beach is nice but very rocky in the water so not many people swimming. Pool however is amazing. My kids swam most nights after dinner till the pool closed at 10. Would stay again next time we come back to the island.

Love this condo!🌴
This is our 3rd time at this condo. This time with kids and grandkids. Everyone loved it. Sat on balcony every morning to watch sunrise. Kids had a blast at the pool! One suggestion would be, if you plan to cook here, bring spices including salt and pepper otherwise you have to buy. Will definitely return 🌴🌞

Absolutely amazing experience! Josh responded to all my questions within minutes. This property is even better than expected which is hard to believe! Dream pool for kids (and patents!). 3 adults hot tubs and one for the family! The unit itself is just incredible. Sparking clean with everything you need to make it home. The view is breathtaking from every room. Will be back for sure. Dream stay.

Outstanding!
From start to finish, our experience here was to notch. I had a lot of questions prior to arriving and Joshua was always responding right away. Upon arrival, everything was beyond what we actually expected. We arrived around 11pm, yet again the condo was so welcoming. TV was quietly playing, AC was on, as well as all lights. We felt home right away. Our toddler took her marks immediately when slept in the convertible couch the entire time. The view. Can't speak enough of that view. Worth every penny. Just breathtaking. EVERY SINGLE room (bed clearly) has an ocean view. Although the advertising photos are beautiful, I actually don't thing it does it justice. We even had a monk seal chilling on the beach right down our windows! We already planning our next vacation there. If you still have any hesitation. Just look this unit NOW before it's gone. Trust me, you won't regret it. Wish I could leave more stars!

This was an EXCELLENT property
This was an excellent property!! It was even better than described and the ocean views/breeze were tremendous! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of storage in the closets and dressers. If you want the ultimate relaxation resort this is the place!! The location is excellent as well close to the airport, easy grocery across the street and convenient to the entire island. You will want to stay extra days here !!

We were in Kauai for our honeymoon and this place was the perfect location! The condo has an ocean front view, great access to amenities, clean, and beautiful! Check in and check out was a breeze! Perfect place for family!
The place was great and excellent location!! Loved watching the sunrise every morning. Pool and beach was perfect for kids and adult. Just a heads up it is called a resort but doesn’t really have the resort amenities. It was fine in the end as Safeway was across the street and you could get food and drinks. Plenty of space in the room to store and full kitchen. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Very nice unit w/ amazing view.
Clean and beautiful. Really nice view and phenomenal amenities. Walking distance to all sorts of food options, groceries and a Starbucks. Highly recommend. Only negatives I can think of is the access code for the pool is ridiculously long and the traffic in front of the resort gets pretty bad during certain hours. But neither of those was much of an issue. Had a great time. Oh, and arranging a late checkout was super easy and made our last day much more convenient!

Our unit was very clean. The furnishings were in excellent condition and seemed fairly new. Beautiful views of the ocean, especially the sun rise. Convenient location to shopping and airport. This is a great place for families. My grandsons (ages 7 & 5) loved the pool! They said it was the best part of the whole vacation! Would definitely book here again.

Perfect accommodations in a perfect location. The pictures are spot on. Very comfortable and had just the right amenities. Fun to have a restaurant right on sight (plan ahead for reservations!), and the pool is gorgeous. Property management was easily available for all questions. We'll be back!

A wonderful vacation!
We had a great time at Waipouli beach resort! We loved our condos and the resort itself. Our only troubles were , there was no pack n play when we got there. We felt like they could have supplied a few basics like paper towels, salt and pepper etc, and we could not get into our second condo! I messaged the manager several times and did not hear back until the next day. The security guard did let us in that night , and after much going back and forth the next day, we were able to get in. This was very frustrating. After that everything went smoothly.

A206 looked nothing like the pictures, which is the reason we booked this unit to begin with. None of the luxury furnishings pictured were in the unit. Very disappointing. Instead we got an ugly blue sofa that was stained and looked like it needed to be cleaned. And the rest of the furniture didn't match and was banged up and looked like it was old and outdated. I tried contacting the management company on 2 different occasions with no response back. The kitchen and appliances were nice but there were no basics at all, not even salt and pepper. They unit was very cold (granted it rained a lot while we were there) but they had the thermostat set at 72 degrees and if we adjusted it to be warmer it would return to 72 degrees. We had to search for pool towels, finally being told by another guest we had to go to the HOA office to get them. Of course the 2 times we went there was no one actually in the office. When we finally got towels from them we were told we had to wash them ourselves and return them back at check-out. Also there is a really nice refrigerator freezer (sub-zero) but no ice maker. This was super inconvenient as there wasn't an ice maker on the property. For what we paid we felt this was like a bait and switch. Granted Covid did affect some of our expectations but the entire visit to Waipouli Beach Resort was a let down.
