The sleeping accommodations were great along with beach and pool easy access. However, one night we asked for nice dining without reservations, but they were not accommodating.

Only issues was there was a black mold in the grout between 5 tiles in the shower. Bamboo tray on the vanity had mold on the legs. Additional the bamboo ice box had mold in it. Dressers with the coffee maker there was a bamboo ice bucket had black mold on the exterior. But the staff was phenomenal!

We stayed at this same property 22 years ago (under previous ownership), and even though we loved it back then, there have been so many improvements since it was remodeled by Sheraton! It used to have a small pool, but now the pool area is amazing! I love the lounge chairs in the water. The property is absolutely stunning now!! And the food and drinks offered were equally fabulous. We loved it!

Property was in a great location, easy to walk to many restaurants. The beach was AWESOME! The resort staff were really nice and friendly, but the majority of the food and service staff were less than helpful, generally a sour demeanor. You expect the resort to be overpriced, but the main dining was significantly overpriced and not worth the money.

We've been to Kauai twice and each time we chose this property to stay in. We loved the location (beachfront) but be advised that there are too many rocks to actually swim. The pool was lovely, the food is always terrific and the atmosphere is very relaxed and fun. The property is great for all ages. The oceanfront/oceanview rooms are very nice - clean and roomy with terrific views. I would not recommend 'coconut grove' rooms - they are smaller and offer no view at all. We'll be back and this will be our go-to hotel.

We loved the resort. We wished we had an ocean view but walked out to the beach for every sunrise and sunsets when we were there. We loved that we could check out beach chairs, cooler and umbrella to take with us when we left the resort. It would’ve been nice to have a small souvenir shop. We loved the pool and the great cozy chairs to sit in by the fire pit at night. We missed out on playing the lawn games but they looked fun. We would definitely go back. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay here. Most of the employees were very nice and attentive except for the one that checked us in. We did not receive our welcome lei included in the price of the amenity extra fee charged. Except from that everything was good, would recommend for families. They offer bicycled, beach chairs, and umbrellas with amenity fee charged. I would recommend guests to take advantage of that. We did the bike path twice. It is a beautiful path.
