When you hear the house name Sommer72, it immediately starts to work in your head. What was there? How old was I and where was I? What did I experience in the summer of 72? But that doesn't explain the name... The floating house is a themed house inspired by the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and Kiel. Based on the colour concept of that time, the modern and cosy interior plays with the colours orange, green and turquoise. Original posters of various water sports adorn the walls. Does this appeal to you? Then you can start your journey to this special holiday home in a sporty way: in addition to a car parking space, there is a boat mooring right next to the house.
As sporty as it sounds, you don't have to be a sports enthusiast to feel at home in this exclusive holiday apartment. There is a sauna with a view of the water and a spacious bathroom with a floor-level shower with hand and overhead shower and Kneipp hose.
In the first bedroom, a comfortable double bed with a sleeping area of 1.60 x 2.00 m awaits you, from which you can look out over the water and the sky while lying down thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a television in both bedrooms. Built-in wardrobes with luggage racks and plenty of hooks offer plenty of storage space. Watch the gentle waves on the wrap-around terrace directly from your lounger. You can't get any closer to the Baltic Sea!
The first floor welcomes guests with an elevated view of the water! The well-equipped kitchen with dining area for 4 people flows seamlessly into the living area. The airy atmosphere is supported by stylish and very cosy furniture. Couch and armchair invite you to linger. And if the harbour cinema is not enough, a TV with Magenta TV and an Internet radio are also available here. The terrace adjoining the living area is perfectly equipped with a large garden table and four comfortable chairs for a hearty breakfast in the morning sun or a nice barbecue evening.
From here, a narrow external staircase leads to the highlight of Sommer72: the large roof terrace! Sheltered from the wind in a beach chair or relaxing on a sun lounger, you can enjoy watching the sailors on the Schlei and the hustle and bustle in the harbour or simply unwind. This unique panoramic view is phenomenal and inspiring. Nowhere else can you follow the play of the elements of wind and waves, sun and beach in a more relaxed way.
Our favourite spot: there are several: the red chair on the ground floor, the armchair on the first floor and the beach chair on the roof terrace. What will be yours?
