Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, centrally located in the coastal village of Karitane, 25 minutes north of Dunedin. This cosy, warm self contained Guesthouse with external access is full of quirky character. The Karitane General Store and cafe is across the street with fresh daily baking, food, coffee, wine and wood fired pizzas (Friday nights). Ocean views from the front door, the river and beach a short walk away. Swimming, surfing, kayaking, walking tracks, fishing in close proximity. Karitane is perfect for a weekend getaway to the coast.

The guesthouse adjoins the main house, access is from the footpath along the front of house veranda.
