This motel had the rudest clerks, especially the one named Lavina. I froze half the night in a room that had a malfunctioning heater. I informed Lavina that next morning about the issue, and she proceeded to argue with me and snidely tell me that I can’t check into another room until they become available later that day.

This is a charming old hotel where I have been staying 4-6 times a year for the past few years. Its walkable from the airport and has two great restaurants within a 5 minute. Today I saw five horses out my window and the view from every room is great. In Kayenta, people's dogs run free and everyone takes care of them. If you are unaware, Kayenta is in the Navajo Nation which is a different kind of place. They take care of their own here and you will not find homeless people. Note that the Kayenta is dry so you will not find alcohol for sale in stores or restaurants.

I liked how convenient the location was, right off the highway, the staff was excellent and helpful with directions. They seemed like happy and kind people 🙂 although restaurant was closed for winter they like i said helped with directions so i could get some yummy food across the street!

It was a good stay. However i booked it because on the ad it offered breakfast. When we got there, it said the restaurant was closed due to Thanksgiving. I understand it is Thanksgiving, but if it says breakfast included, it still should have been included or refunded.
