Stayed for 1 night, as a family, for a wedding in Warwick, got an uber to the Saxon mill which was £10 each way so that wasn't too bad.
On arrival at the hotel it was obvious that building work was going on by the appearance of the outside, whilst we were there there was no noise or signs of builders.
Entered reception, there was no staff about and after a while we had to go and find someone, whom didnt really seem to know what she was doing.
We'd booked an executive room for 3 people, which was quite small and there was only 1 bed ready so we had to go back to reception to get an extra bed brought in. Beds were comfy though, but only had 1 pillow each.
The bar area was okay, although drinks prices were quite expensive, it could have done with some comfy sofas in there though instead of hard chairs and tabes. Also some outside furniture to sit outside in the sun.
Breakfast price was 6.99 for a continental, this consisted of cereal, toast, croissants, yogurt and fruit ,with tea or coffee. Or you could have a cooked breakfast for 12.99 each.
Staff were very few , only saw 3 staff who ran the bar, reception and restaurant. The young guy was chatty and friendly.
All in all it was average ,dont know if I would stay again though.
