In the heart of Kerhonkson, the Juniper House is close to everything the Catskills and the Hudson Valley has to offer.

After a short drive down a picturesque private country road you find the Juniper House nestled at the foot of a sloping wildflower meadow framed by trees and abutting a private forest. A short walk through the forest, past the goat pasture (we have three very friendly funny goats) brings you to our beautiful swimming pond stocked with Rainbow trout. A tranquil luxurious place to recharge and reconnect with nature.

You will find everything require for a relaxing getaway — a self-grinding Miele espresso machine a well- equipped kitchen , an Everdure grill, organic wool bedding with 500 thread count sheets, breathtaking large windows that bring the outside in, a clawfoot tub and a rain shower, a turntable with an eclectic vinyl collection (feel free to connect your phone to the Vandersteen speakers to listen to your personal selection). Browse a carefully curated collection of books and board games.

Spend tranquil evenings at the fire pit.

Lounge on the wrap-around deck and watch the bluebirds.

Visit our friendly bottlefed goats.

Go fish for rainbow trout in our spring fed pond (must be approved beforehand, and a liability waiver must be signed)).

Relax in the clawfoot bathtub or watch a movie on the smart TV .

Watch a movie in the forest under the stars: Enjoy your favorite movie or TV show using our plug-and-play high-definition projector. Our 200 inch projection screen hung between the trees makes any movie watching experience an event while you lounge in the comfort of four FatBoy outdoor beanbag chairs nestled within a lean-to camping hut to keep cozy and dry even if there are some sprinkles. If you/re feeling a little chilly, our stylish Pendleton wool camp blankets will keep you warm.

Are you a Stargazer? Clear of city lights, we have some of the most amazing star-filled skies in the evening stretched over the Red-Tail Meadow. Check out the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, or any of your favorite constellations with our Orion telescope complete with cell phone accessory to help those who might not know their Ursa Major from Ursa Minor.

The house is in close proximity to great restaurants and hikes.

Swimming holes are near by.
