We were warmly welcomed and bags carried to our room. Our delux double room had a superb view of the lake and mountains. The lounge area was comfy and the perfect place to relax with an aperitif before dinner. The 5 course tasting menu was outstanding as were the breakfasts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.
One of the best hotel stays. The staff were attentive and friendly from start to finish. Rooms are comfy and clean and the hotel has a lovely bar that us well stocked. A nice lounge and dining room overlooking the garden is a plus. A big shout out to the chef who produced the best food! Overall a memorable stay, thankyou to all at the Leathes Head Hotel
Weather was amazing. Small Hotel which is perfect for us, less chance of noisy people. Where the Hotel is situated amongst fields & Wildlife, surrounded by Mountains, just what we both required. We highly recommend to anyone who requires peace and quiet away from all the noise you get at the bigger ones get.
Stayed 1 night for our wedding anniversary, food (fixed menu) was amazing with every course announced when served. Location is quiet and secluded even though it is off the main road (not very busy). We had a wonderful view of the mountains and lake. Will definitely go again.
Good base to visit the Northern Lakes. Stunning views from our very spacious and comfortable room. Had to choose breakfast options the evening before. Dinner was limited to a set menu with no choice so we ate out.
Service and food was impeccable, and location beautiful and charming. Stayed in a basic room so it was as expected but would probably pay to upgrade next time.
Gorgeous location, beautiful views, genuinely lovely & helpful staff. Wide range of options on breakfast menu (we didn’t eat there for lunch or dinner). Well stocked hotel bar, lovely lounge to relax in, spacious bathroom with spa bath. Only negative would be you can hear people in adjoining rooms so if you’re a light sleeper you may find this an issue. Great value for money, we would definitely stay here again! :)
Lovely hotel, we stayed in the deluxe king room with mountain view but you can still see the lake so best of both worlds for views.
The bed was so comfortable, felt more like a super-king.
We didnt really use the reception rooms or bar area as went elsewhere in the evening but breakfast in the morning was delicious.
You pre-order your breakfast the night before which made it so easy, just sit down and your food arrives. Outside the breakfast room window there are multiple bird feeders so we were very entertained by the mixture of birds enjoying their breakfast at the same time.
We will be returning.
Lovely stay in this hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning and view from our bath/bedroom was stunning.
Bedroom let in a fair bit of light from the hallway, but apart from that it was a highly recommended stay.
