The pool was closed down, nothing posted stating that until we see the sign in the down to the pool. Tons of garbage under the beds and behind the chairs.

The biggest reason for our star rating is the pool being closed without notification. We had a lot of family that booked rooms, many early in and no email, phone call nothing to let us know the pool was closed due to the ceiling being caved in over it. If we knew this we would have moved to another Best Western about 15 minutes away. We definitely booked with pool plans for the first night. Big bummer. I know in our room the pullout couch bed and the big bed both were older and worn out, if not they were cheaper mattresses though. Otherwise it was great. Breakfast from 630-9am which is a little early quitting time but was definitely a good mixture of options! A big plus was on the 2nd floor was a big open area so big groups could gather and visit. That was very nice! It was very clean too!

Love the ambiance, quirky. In the middle of Chicago, so one side window was facing a parking garage and the other was other hotel rooms, but had really cool arty mannequins “flying”. Beds were comfortable, bathroom small but nice.

My husband and I love going here for a quick night away. The room with the balconies and jacuzzi tub is perfect for a night away. Sraff is friendly and accommodating. Wish there was a place to eat dinner close by. The place is not modern but it is well maintained and clean. Will be booking again I'm sure.

The room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke. I informed the front desk and asked for another room. They gave me another room but didn't act like they even cared about the smokey room. The next morning I smelled Marijuana smoke in the hall. The bathroom wasn't clean either
