The grounds, pool area and little beach are fantastic! Tiki bar is nice. Manatees came to visit, so cool! Breakfast was nice, good choices and variety. The bed was not super comfortable and our pillows were old and foam chunky, we had to ask for two more, but they came right away. The rug always seemed slightly damp, recommend getting rid of rugs! Shower water pressure weak, but nice bathroom. The room could use a different paint job, it looks dated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, mostly because of location and the amenities.

Assigned room was unsafe and noisy in a construction area with overflowing dumpsters, a forklift and work still going across the hall at 5:00. Room was sloppy and bed did not have a bedskirt. Worn room and furniture. Moved to second room after my complaint. First told there was no other option and I could get my money back which was unacceptable since it was only 3:00 and all guests had not checked in yet. They said they could not change room since I booked with a third party, Travelocity. Finally, after we were settled in, they determined that they could move us. Second room in worn condition. The bottom of the bathroom door was rusted for bottom few inches and sliding door lock did not work. Slimy gross stuff was in holes in the stone tabletop on the nightstand. This is a very overpriced room in a worn facility. It did have a nice beach and pool area.

Grear location and views. The property is excelent. However, be mindful, in 4 nights we spent, only one day we had room keeping with beds ans new towels. It's the firsr timw it happens with a Hampton Inn for decades.

If you want a hotel right on the bay with a beach area this is for you. Manatees swam around our kayak, dolphins visited each morning, along with other wildlife, which we love. We did take our own kayak as they are quite expensive to rent and not in great condition. That way we could go out more often whenever we wanted. The hotel itself is kept clean, though not much has changed since we were here 9 years ago. The bathroom fans need updating, sadly the artwork is going moldy in there due to humidity. Other than that all was great. Key West is a couple hours drive so doable in a day and there are good places around to shop and eat. I'd go back tomorrow!

First, I have to say I did my research before staying here and the reviews were very good. That being said this place did not disappoint! It is not the JW Marriott, but if you are looking for something quiet and beautiful and old time Florida then this is it. The staff was exceptional, from front desk, housekeeping, outdoor landscapers and the morning restaurant staff. I received a text every morning making sure everything was of and if I needed anything. Will definitely return!

Wedding Guest Stay
We were in town to attend a wedding. It was a great location and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. The room was larger than I expected and a little table and 2 chairs for dining. That was a great addition; usually there isn’t anyplace to sit expect on the bed. The mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker were appreciated too. The tv was large, which was great for football watching.
