The online pictures made the place look much better. So we decided to have a snack and drinks before heading to our room. If it were not for the 2 eateries on the property, I don't think this would be considered a resort or would be a 3-star hotel. I was disappointed with the condition of the room, but who's on vacation to be in a room anyway? The walls were dingy, and the tub appeared to have been wiped clean, but it was clogged with hair from previous guest(s). When I reported the condition of the room to the front desk the next day, they sent housekeeping within an hour. I could see that the cleaning staff worked hard to keep the common areas in as good a condition as possible. The weather was under 40 degrees outside in the evening, and we had to call maintenance twice to fix the issue. The front desk was rude the second time I called for the heat and never said she was sending anyone; she just hung up on me. Management did not offer any resolution to make our stay more comfortable, offer a discount, change room, or offer to give us an upgrade. The bottom line is that the place is run-down and needs better management and owners who care and will invest in some renovation. I would not stay here again but would love to visit Jaselyn at Sharkey's Sharkbite Grill.

Do not stay here if you want peace and quiet or to sleep in. Hotel employees loud in the common ways banging things and hollering back and forth to each other. Bars on either side of the place and VERY loud well into the night. Wanted to enjoy a warm shower after a day in the cool ocean and heavy winds and no hot water. No WiFi as promised. But…it was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. I live relatively close and stayed two nights to avoid an early morning and a late night drive. Should’ve saved my $$

This was definitely not a resort and should not advertise as such. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the rooms need some major fixing, almost everything in the room was broken. Stayed here for a night on my way through the keys for my honeymoon and it felt more like a motel than a resort. All though the bedding and towels appeared to be clean the walls were dirty and the tub was also dirty. The free breakfast included was just yogurt, cereal, and soggy premade breakfast sandwiches. I would have canceled and stayed some where else but it was only 1 night so there was no point.
