Cute remodeled hotel with a small private beach and dock. Was a great place to sit and enjoy the water and watch the sunset. Staff was friendly. It was a fun place to stay, and it was nice that it was tucked away a bit so you had a small intimate resort feel. Would stay here again.
The check-in process was easy and GiGi was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool even though it needs a few repairs. The room is old but clean and comfortable. Free parking is right at the door. The area was walkable to Duval St I would recommend this property for the value.
It was very close to all the things we wanted to see. Park the car at the hotel and walk to everything.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Kitchen was not well supplied. No glasses..only two coffee cups . The shower did not have any place to put soap or shampoo so you had to put them on the floor. The pool area was small but very nice and private. They did keep the pool and deck area very clean. The parking area was great as parking in the area is very hard to get if you don't want to pay. The check in office was great. We arrived a little early and our room was not ready so they did park our car in their back lot so we could walk around Duvall street till our room was ready. The staff was very polite and helpful.
There are many options for lodging in Key West. I chose this one as the most value for my money; a clean comfortable room with everything one would need. The only cheaper option available on the island was a bunk in a hostel. And the larger hotels were priced much higher due to demand and location. Parking was available but very limited. A little further from the main strip than other options, but close enough to still walk. Shower only, no tub; with weak water pressure. Air conditioning was small but effective. Of the handful of rooms at this location, I got 1 of the 2 on the 2nd floor. Building is nearly underneath a flight path for the airport and landing jets were 1,000 feet or less overhead, but not constant. Check-in was a headache because the office is located separately on the very busy main strip (Duval Street).

Liked: Room comfort
I was not aware that my room was on the second floor. My husband and I are over 65 years old and both with heart conditions and we had to carry all our luggage up two flights of stairs which took two trips. Because of the heat that day it was very exhausting! The bathroom does not allow any room for easy use of toiletries. Shower does not have space for our shampoo and soap and no easy way to grab your towel. Hooks would be nice. NOT AN EASY WALK TO DUVAL STREET.
Staff and boss man were very nice but I can’t get over the bugs and the mold in my room 405 , asked for more towels and the owner jumped on it but got back to the room to shower and 2 of the 6 towels had holes… I laughed but when we got back from our fishing trip the bugs where everywhere! Called up and the very nice manager moved us rm 401…but was same thing with bugs ! Fitted sheets don’t fit and kept coming off. Deck boards are popping up …. So not kool , mold on the Bathroom door and baseboards because drain is leaking from under the shower pan!! Now I know why my wife don’t want me picking the places to stay and of course I picked this one! lol
Place need a fixen bad and can’t list everything bad I encountered… but staff was very nice except for the guy that gave me the keys for the new room… he seemed to think it was all funny and was making jokes but apparently moving all luggage upstairs and down stairs I was not entertained by his humor and my wife packs a lot for our trips. Should have known better when I HAD TO PAY in full before I stepped into the room! With some fixing and bug control on whole building it could have been nice but as is I can’t recommend another stay here.. sorry
Room not ready AFTER check-in time, had to be moved to a different room, found roaches in the kitchen, the hotel "forgot" that they moved us to another room and gave keys to our room to another guest.
My girlfriend woke up with clustered bug bites on her hands, and ankles. We thought it was bedbug bites but staff said they looked and couldn’t find any, wasn’t refunded for that night only my future booking there. Door did not seal, shower head was duck taped, and there was mold all around.
The room is a nice quiet neighborhood. It was comfortable and met our needs nicely. It was within a nice comfortable. Walking distance from the main tourist area. Also found several nice restaurants. It appeared to have had a loft at one time, but the access to the loft longer existed.
