Kudos to Caribbean House
The Caribbean House was pleasant. Aside from a VERY small room, there were other things that made up for that downfall. The location was perfect and walking was easy enough to get around the hot spots, the staff was friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was a simple choice of fruit, yogurt, two cereal choices, English muffin or bagel, juice, a sweet baked treat, and Biscotti. Coffee, Mimosas, and water were offered in a cozy little outdoor dining area, the shower was cramped but it served purpose. The room we were in (#9), the sink was outside of the bathroom and the shower faucet functioned in the opposite for hot & cold water. It worked so it wasn’t broken. The room was cleaned each day we stayed with fresh towels provided along with beach towels to bring to the beach or other water activities. The best part of our stay was the bed!! It was one of the most comfortable beds which was the highlight of the room. The pillows were equally comfortable. This would not be a good fit for anyone unable to climb stairs. It would also unacceptable for individuals needing special accommodations which is advertised by Caribbean House. Also, be prepared to literally be awakened by the roosters! We would stay here again.

Great location just a couple blocks from Duval, a 15-20 minutes walk to the Southernmost buoy, and the heart of downtown is 15-20 minute walk on the other side. Close to the nightlife, but not in the middle of it made it easy to have fun and still get a night's rest. Very clean. Nice breakfast delivered to the door and pleasant staff.

Buyer beware
The location was great and the room was clean. The issue was the room was really small and to enter the bathroom you had to turn sideways and squeeze in between the door jam and the pedestal sink. Not sure how it passed inspection. The other issue was that we never saw the breakfast part of the B&B. We have stayed at multiple B&B s over the years in Key West. All have been great but this was a bit of a disappointment.

Easy check-in. Close to everything but far enough away from all the noise of Duval St. Room Cuba is small and bed is elevated to allow room for suitcases. Bathroom is extremely small but functional. If you have mobility issues, this room is not for you. There is a good size mini fridge. Can rent one speed bike on premises. Staff is excellent. Enjoyed stay and would definitely stay again.

Great Location in Key West
A very small room, somewhat like a tiny hotel in Japan, where even turning around feels a bit tight, but it is fully equipped with all the essentials. The front desk staff were very friendly and thoughtfully recommended several free parking spots, mentioning that you only need to pay for parking at the front if no free spaces are available. It's within walking distance of The Hemingway Home and the Southernmost Point. Free breakfast is included. For this price, it’s a great deal in Key West.

We stayed two nights in the Cuba room, which was tiny but had what we needed! The property itself is cute and the personal touches, such as the honor system drinks, mimosas in the morning and breakfast delivered were a bonus. It’s just a couple blocks from Duval street and extremely convenient to walk every where. We parked our car on the street right in front and never touched it all weekend. Alex at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again for a night or two!

I'll be honest, for what I paid I didn't expect a 5-star hotel, but Caribbean House far exceeded my expectations. Went for two nights with my teenage son, and we had no problem with the size of the room. The staff was exceedingly friendly, the area is quiet (okay the roosters don't count), and we felt safe there. A stay at the Caribbean House is what you need to experience historic Key West, without paying 100's more for a name-brand hotel. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Mari and Aleks handled their innkeeping duties adroitly and with aplomb.bhe hotel is conve Our bed was very comfortable, but the rooms are very small. Fortunately, there are outdoor decks where we were able enjoy breakfast and evening cocktails. The hotel is located a few blocks off Duval Street and there many good restaurants nearly. Their rates are competitive and therefore worthy of consideration.

It had a perfect location for dining and activities. Our room was small and the bathroom tiny. We had no hot water the 1st night and the room was freezing. However when we complained both problems were fixed. The breakfast was adequate.

Loved our stay at the Caribbean House. Breakfast was a little disappointing but that is not why we booked the place. Internet was weak but good cellular connection. Excellent location to all points of interest within walking distance. Recommend!
