Nice hotel but bad experience due to closed pool
While many aspects of the hotel were great (food, drinks, most staff, location) The main reason for a poor review is due to ill-informed staff and made up excuses. We chose this hotel based on location and the fact he had a pool. After booking I read a google review that the pool was closed for renovation, reachout out to hotel.com, after an hour, they responded that they spoke to the hotel and the pool would be opening in a week, and prior to our arrival. I wasn't sure, so I also called the hotel, and the front desk told me it would be open. Move forward to check it, the pool is closed, excuse is it didn't pass inspection. The pool had unboxed equipment everywhere, drilling and building work going on, it was nowhere near ready. After some pushing they said no resort fee (or whatever they call it) and breakfast credits. Some staff at breakfast said the credit was for both of us, others said for one of us. Then at check out, after being told nothing was getting charged to the card, I see 3 of the 4 days have a $30 resort fee, even after being told it would not be there. Again, more time for us to sort that out. Otherwise, hotel is great (rooms are small). But please list this property with a closed pool and educate your front room staff when things will be working

I liked to start off with huge thank you to Mr.Holloway . Friendly, accommodating , and a perfectionist for being a leader . The food and drinks were amazing, with friendly staff went above and beyond. Perfect place for all Duval Blvd and local events. Hands down our go to place the next and all trips to Key west

This was a beautiful property with very friendly and helpful staff. Great food too. Denilson provided excellent service to us and he is the reason we booked a second night. We were there October 3-5, 2024. Can’t say enough great things about Denilson! We will be back again in a few months for sure.

The Expedia listing did not state that the pool was closed and the hotel was under renovation. Neither did the Marriott listing for the property. I would have never chose this hotel had I known. The noise was unbearable at times.

Hotel was under construction during our visit and I either missed the memo or didn’t see disclaimer when booking. No pool due to construction. Room was super small and tight to the point of feeling cluster phobic. Room also smelled very humid.

The elevator close to our room did not work. It was not marked as not working. The housekeeping staff wasn’t informed. They kept telling us to use it, instead of carrying all our bags up stairs etc. They promised a free drawstring bag with the destination fee. We checked for 3 days. They didn’t have any. Construction was very noisy.

This is a nice looking hotel. Rooms are neat and very clean. Service has a lot of room for improvement. I think management need to train their employees better, they seem lost in their job positions starting from the lobby ending in the restaurants. Overall an average hotel.
