Absolutely recommend this property. Close to everything, super clean and amenities showed a lot of thought. The pool was lovely. Maria who checked us in took all the time to show us around, give us the low down on the area etc.

This is a small hotel right in the center of Key West on a quiet street 1/2 block off of Duval Street, where all the action is. We had the whole 2d floor with private porch overlooking the street. Apartment has a large living room with full kitchen on one side, lovely views East, one bedroom with two beds & good sized bath. Exterior stairs only access. There are various sitting & lounging areas at rear of building with small pool & lovely tropical plantings. Duval Street is Key West’s commercial “Main Street”, which crosses North-South downtown. No need for car rental. Plenty to see: South Beach, small but welcoming, Hemingway House, excellent museum, Lighthouse Museum, Mallory Square sunset gathering nightly, live music, plays at the Waterfront Theater, delicious & varied menus & drinks plus fabulous weather in February - 70-74 degrees daily & sunny. Excellent quiet location and accommodating people at desk. We highly recommend the Douglas House!

Sweet little hotel

This was a nice little hotel on a side street off of Duval. The room was small but clean and had had all amenities except a broken coffee pot. However, there was coffee available by the pool. A good value!

The Douglas House served as a perfect home base while in Key West. The location allows for easy access to all Duval has to offer. Really enjoyed being able to hear the national anthem being played every morning at 8 from the Navy base..

I had a wonderful stay at Douglas House! The place is spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly located—everything is within walking distance, which made exploring so convenient. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional customer service from Jose at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and responsible. He even called to check in on me when I was running late and provided fantastic recommendations for food and sightseeing. His attention to detail and genuine care made me feel welcome and valued. I highly recommend Douglas House to anyone visiting the area. It’s a gem!

beautiful grounds, our suite is amazing. Jose checked us in,showed us to our suite. So pleasant,friendly. Sorry it is only for 1 night. Highly recommend Douglas House. Parking lot is a major plus!

Quiet, clean very relaxing The room was huge, the bathroom was beautiful and big as welll. Separate living space and outdoor patio was a bonus. Heated pool and outdoor area was gorgeous with trees and plants. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay in Key West

My stay at the Douglas House was the perfect location and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable which made the check-in process go very smoothly. The lodging was clean, well decorated and pleasantly cozy. Comfortable bed and great shower. The pool area was clean & tropical, with hot beverages offered. I highly recommend The Douglas House & will definitely stay here again.
