Nestled within the oak trees of a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, and adjacent to 21-acre Night Heron Park, our Premier rated single-family, three bedroom cottage enjoys convenient access to East Beach Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, and Kiawah’s 10 miles of beach. The beach is just a 4 minute walk from the front door. Our guests enjoy resort privileges.
Our lovely Heron's Nest cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a spacious great room, and dining space for 10 people: plus a screened porch, sundeck, outdoor shower, exterior storage, a grill, an electric vehicle charger, and private tuck-under parking. Outdoor decks overlook the canopies of Kiawah's live oak trees. It is truly your Kiawah Island sanctuary.

Cottage was as described. Great location, nicely appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed our quick trip to the island (sadly just one night to view a home for sale). Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again

Beautiful Kiawah
We really enjoyed our stay at Kiawah Island Resort. The home was very comfortable and the grounds were well manicured. It was an easy walk to the beach. We loved the convenience of the Nest Market prepared dinners, that were delicious.

Perfect family getaway
This place is conveniently located and perfectly laid out for a family. Everyone had their own space and we were able to hang out together comfortably, whether in the living room, dining room, or on the back porch. Karin is very responsive and made sure that our stay was perfect.

Great family trip
The property was absolutely beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed for the week. The property was clean, decor was nice and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout the house - indoor and outdoor. The location was fantastic, just a quick walk to the park, pool and beach. We would love to stay again!!!

Perfect long weekend getaway
This villa was perfect for our long weekend trip to Kiawah for a wedding. It was walkable to the pool, the Nest and the beach. Perfect for either 3 couples, multiple friends, or 2 couples and kids. Stocked kitchen for any cooking that is needed. Adorable enclosed porch for morning coffee and reading that we used daily. Only issue was that it said beach chairs were included so we didn’t bring any from home, but there were none at the villa for us to use. Besides that, it was perfect!

Kiawah!
Karin’s property was prefect for our short stay in Kiawah. The check in process was seamless and Karin responded immediately to our questions. It is located in a central location on the Island. It’s a very short walk to the Night Heron pool and the beach. We also enjoyed the proximity to The Nest restaurant at Night Heron.

Love the resort privileges and proximity to “beach restroom”
The closest boardwalk is #18 which has a public bathroom! So nice to have that available during our trip. We also enjoyed pool access. Trip would have been better had the property been cleaned more thoroughly- there was mildew/mold in bathrooms, spiderwebs in lighting, & the air return vent obviously has not been cleaned in months, etc. We did appreciate the supplies available- dishwasher pods & trash bags, etc.

Perfect family getaway
Karin’s home was a true respite for our family and the perfect location within Kiawah. We greatly enjoyed the proximity to the Night Heron Park as well as the beach. It is truly the best of both worlds! The listing was completely accurate and did not disappoint. In addition, Karin goes above and beyond in communicating with her renters. We have already rebooked our stay for next year and cannot wait to return!

This location was ideal for our family of six! We enjoyed easy access to the beach, the market, East pool, nature center and our extended family who are residents of Seabrook Island. The cottage worked great to host 3 other families for dessert and game night too. We would rent again, thank you!

We stayed in the cottage for a senior trip! Everything inside was clean and SO nice… perfect layout to sleep lots of people whether it’s family or friends. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. It was an ideal location being essentially across the street from the pool, a 5 minute walk from the beach, and a short drive from nearby shops and restaurants.

We loved our 2 day stay here. Everything was within walking distance. The outdoor pools were heated. The restaurants were delicious, a little pricey but worth it to stay local. The house was stocked with extras that were much appreciated (beach chairs, soccer ball, laundry basket, uno, dominos and so much more!!) the master bed was super comfortable too. Would definitely stay again
