"Staff excellent special thanks to reception who sorted out an access problem. Breakfast extremely good. Room very clean but bedside table tatty which was a shame. Would have benefitted from a coffee table and larger tv."

"Excellent, having stayed here many times before. The Broadside room is spacious, with all the facilities as described in the spec. Well kept Adnams ales and good food. Excellent breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value. Recommended!"

"Lovely house in a lovely location but we had a few issues. The property details said there was a barbecue which had planned to use. There was no barbecue! Instead we had to use the ovens in the kitchen. Both ovens were very dirty one of them filled the kitchen with acrid smoke as soon as we turned it on . It was such a shame because the standards of cleanliness elsewhere in the property were very high. With a barbecue and a clean oven this would have been a pretty much perfect house."
