Maui Schooner was perfect for our family of four. We had a 2 bedroom partial ocean view room. The view was gorgeous. It is an older property so has some little things that aren’t perfect but it is very clean and has all amenities to make it feel like home. I love that they let you borrow gear like pickle ball paddles and snorkels for no extra charge. The location is a short drive or long walk/bike ride to restaurants and shops in Kihei. We found it to be quiet, safe, and uncrowded. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

You can walk out the backside of the property to a beach. We would watch the sunrise every morning and stroll along the beach watching the sea turtles.

Absolutely loved this resort, the beach was just a walk down and decent. There was some sea life right in front of us, crabs, seals, and a turtle swam by. The resort provides you with a cooler, towels and chairs to take to the beach as well. It was clean, we had a two bedroom which was a loft area and two bathrooms. A decent kitchen with all necessary kitchen items to cook with. Absolutely loved this place and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely go back!

Spacious. Nice kitchen. Strong WiFi and AC. Free snorkeling gear and cheap beach umbrellas. We found small lizard in the bedroom and some black insect in one of the cabinets. Leaving on the last day was stressful as they have lots of rules like you need to clean the floor from sand and start the dishwasher and empty the trash. The time to be out is exactly 10:00 am and if you are late they charge $50 per 30 minutes. Worst of all - we fell for the scam of going to meet one of their reps who tried to sell us a time share. To get the promised week in one of their resorts is close to impossible.

There're almost all we need for the trip. Great place to stay. Only the cleanliness was the one they can improve. Some unwanted things were left from the previous customers.

Overall the stay was good. Lots of amenities and close to restaurants, etc. The room itself was a little lack luster and could have been much cleaner… we fought cockroaches the whole stay. Front desk was friendly and responsive. Beach was nice and quiet.
