The property was beautiful! The only issue was the water bugs aka giant roaches...This property really needs to exterminate ASAP. But other than that it really was a nice place!

Inviting colorful townhomes close to the beach. Easy keypad access via code sent by email. Inside smelled of mold and mildew as if the carpets had been cleaned but never really dried. Back bedroom smelled of vomit - no kidding - appears that someone got sick on a previous stay. Stains on carpet throughout. Couch and chairs in the Livingroom were stained and worn out. Kept getting a whiff of cigarette smoke, but admittedly i think it was the neighbor taking frequent smoke breaks on their back deck. I should mention that some of these units are rentals, and others have homeowners that live there full-time. We had 2 vehicles with us, but parking wasn't an issue. Pool was closed for the season, but definitely a kiddie pool, not really suited for adults.

Property was filthy fire alarms hanging off walls without batteries light switches off walls. Towels and sheets stained and not clean. Roaches everywhere. Called to have it corrected they called us back and we were not available so we returned their call and they would not answer after 4 times of us trying to return their call. Overall would never recommend this property to anyone and definitely will not be returning.

not to COVID standards

When we first got there none of the TVs worked there was a hole in the master bedroom door, The top floor bathroom door didn’t close, every bathroom had someone else hair either on the sink or in the shower. With COVID going on this was not acceptable and I was totally blown off when I called in to complain like it was no big deal. I had to pay to have the unit reclaimed.

Parking Trouble

The parking is sufficient for a compact car. Some units have an extra parking spot, 1107C does not and there is only one marked visitor. If you drive an SUV parking is tricky.

Good value for family/group

Each bedroom had its own bath which was very nice. The carpet had a stain, but apart from that it was exceptionally clean and maintained. There are 4 levels including garage level, so quite a bit of climbing. It seems that the community is a mix of permanent residents and vacation rentals so be mindful of parking! The garage will fit an SUV and a crosssover or car will fit in front of the garage but there is only one designated space in the parking lot. Another resident was towed while we were there for parking in the wrong space. I wouldn’t advise bringing more than 3 vehicles. The pool was closed due to Covid-19 but it looked nice. Not on the beach, but I really enjoyed the location near Wright Brothers Memorial trails. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay again

Great pool, pristine interior, well-equipped 10/10

Cambridge Cove is a community of town houses that are available by the night instead of by the week, like most cottages. My family wanted to go for just the weekend, but we wanted a little more space than a hotel room, so Cambridge Cove fit our needs. The community itself is full of brightly colored town houses, and is still expanding, so there is some construction noise at times. It boasts a large pool with a water slide, and kids area with zero entry. After staying in Myrtle Beach a few times, I've come to expect that pictures are better than reality, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and upkeep of the pool! The house itself had a pristine interior, the blankets and pillows were plush, the kitchen came fully outfitted with everything we needed including dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent. It even had a grill, which we used one night. Being sound-side wasn't as big of a drawback as we were expecting. There were plenty of public beach access points with parking, so going to the beach wasn't an issue. With the beach nearby and the pool onsite, we had a wonderful time. I have it marked so we can stay here next time as well.

Need a good cleaning and update

Nice size accommodations and nice pool. However, we found roaches, and carpets were in need of cleaning.The bed mattresses were old and stained. I wouldn’t even use the pull out couch because it was so nasty looking. I stayed here about 7 years ago. It’s sad that they haven’t kept up the maintenance.

Nice beach house, would definitely rent there again. Theres a soft spot on the balcony in the main floor, so they should get that fix before someone falls down.

Comfortable OBX Townhouse - Unusable wifi

We really enjoyed the extra space in a townhouse versus staying in a hotel. We were in town with family who also rented one of the townhouses in this community. Their townhouse was nicer and much better maintained than ours, however ours was clean and comfortable. The biggest problem we had during our stay was that the wifi didn't work. I sent a support request to Kees Vacation Rentals, but nobody contacted us or came to investigate the issue.

Complaint & Complications There was no internet access to 1107C. (Date of Rental Oct 5-8, 2018). I called the support # and emailed the site. There was no response or update on internet WIFI passwords. I had to do my work using free WIFI provided by a local restaurant. I knew the internet was working because Prime Video and Hula was working on the TLC TV. During my second KEES rental (Nov 8-11 2018 )I requested a different floor plan so I would not end up with 1107C. Unfortunately, I was assigned the same property 11107C KEES Rental dates (Nov.8-11). I was willing to forgive and forget the last problem if things had been corrected. However, there was same internet WIFI password issue. In addition, I never received an email code for the rental door lock. I had to the call the support services telephone line for the door code. After checking in I called the Support line for WIFI password on Nov 9. The same incorrect WIFI password information was on refrigerator after checking-in (Nov. 8-11 rental). This time someone responded to me on the telephone. I telephoned support for 2 days consecutively with no WIFI correction. They said they would contact the owner for the WIFI password. I left my contact information. There was no response or update for my entire rental. This was the 2nd time I needed to go to a restaurant for free-internet to complete my work. Plenty of room, could be cleaner

Carpet was dirty, as was some of the wash clothes. I also tried to get a two bedroom but somehow would up with more space than needed, and at a higher cost. I did not catch until after I pushed the complete button. Great value overall though. A bigger party would have been better suited. Wi-Fi was very weak.

The property was beautiful. The lower rating was due to the fact that the WiFi didn’t work and we didn’t get a fix to it even though we called as soon as we checked in. The whole unit was damp and had a very musty smell. The tv remotes in one bedroom did not work. We called within 24 hours and no one came to replace it. If they would have responded, the rating would have been a lot higher.

We were promised a 3 bedroom, 3 bath property. Found out from last minute email 2 bedroom, 2.5 baths. I indicated we could make it work if twin beds in one of the rooms. Of course 2 big beds when we got there. Had to buy a blow up bed to make it work for our circumstances. Property otherwise nice. Bring your own laundry detergent, salt and pepper, Kleenex. If you throw a lot of things in trash, please note you're limited to two kitchen size trash bags for entire stay. Positive note: there's room for 2 cars in garage. Big communication problem. They also switched units on us at last minute. Just confirm what you're getting several times before you arrive. Take names, record dates and times of communication and who you spoke with. Sidenote, they can only retrieve conversations that took place in the last 60 days. Pool was wonderful for kids...water slide is a real hit. Any activities you want to do, please reserve ahead or you will be disappointed, i.e., wild horse tours or ghost crab quest.

Our experince was overall good. There were a few things i was unhappy about. We had to check in at 4pm due to allowing the people to clean and have our room ready. But there were so many things left dusty and unclean. I feel like they only came in for an hour worth of duites. If that was the case i would have felt like my money would have been worth that late checking in at 4pm. I was very unpleased about having to collect my own trash and dumping it, along with striping our beds of the sheets. I feel like that should be included in the people who come in to clean up afterwards. Not to mention as the customer once i striped the sheets off one of the bed it showed all the stains on the mattress. I was like wow. I feel like i paid a good amount of money to stay (vacation) so i didnt have to do all that when leaving. I was also emailed wifi sign in info and we couldnt even log in. It told us incorrect password. Not to mention my password was different to the password in the book and on the fridge. All 3 passwords didnt work. My kids couldnt even log into their tablets. We are very happy with the waterpark and its expections. The kids had a blast which is one of the reason we chose to book there. It had plenty of stores to shop close and the beach was just down the street. We enjoied our time and want to book in the future, just wasnt happy to be on vacation to be told to strip our sheets. I just feel like the peopke who clean the place is not worth the check in at 4pm
