This brand new barely broken in hotel at the time one month old was very new and very nice I enjoyed my stay felt comfortable first time I've seen a hybrid hotel with two brands and one building I think there should be more of those and I will definitely stay there again staff is above average and willing and eager to help with any of your needs

I was coming from out of town and it was a late check-in at about 3:30 in the morning and I called to verify that when I got there to check in the lady told me she couldn’t check me in so I ended up having to go next-door to a different hotel and pay double the charge

If you don’t gave pets I think this would be a wonderful place to stay most staff were great / helpful and pleasant. The checkin however was not enjoyable. We had a very small trailer so I asked if they preferred if I parked in the front area, or in the back. ( there were about 12 cars in the front and no cars in the back, and truly a lot of parking). I was told I had to go in a dirt parking across the street. Then she asked if I had a pet; yes; (I had 2 poodles), she said it was $25, is that okay? I said not really - I didn’t see an upcharge when I booked. What I didn’t realize was that was per pet, so a $50 charge extra. The ‘pet area’ was a dirt & weed lot next to the hotel. Had I have known that, I would have left as there were probably 20 hotels in the same area. We had spoke to the morning staff they were apologetic and said the parking should not have been an issue, but the pet policy should have been posted on the website. Again, a lovely hotel, but not pet friendly.

The staff were super friendly. The room was clean and the hotel seemed new. It actually had a breakfast (eggs, sausage in addition to the usual waffles, toast, yogurt). We will definitely stay at Wingate again.

LOVELY. Will stay again when I travel that way.
Stayed with my little dog. Although there is an elevator, my room was on the 4th floor at the back of the property. It was a very long walk and long wait for him to make it down and outside to potty area. Room was lovely. Toilet seat was broken otherwise all good. The bedding and towels were first class extra nice! One caution to mention. The bed itself is extremely high off the floor. I woukd not put a baby or child up on it alone. Long way to the floor should they roll off. I am small, under five foot and elderly. It was difficult to get up onto the bed. But it was so comfortable once I was able. Did not look forward to the struggle down and back up for the middle of the night bathroom trip. I ask when checking out if entire hotel had the same very high beds, she said yes. I would stay here again even with the giant nesting bed. Must remember to request lower floor if traveling with my dog. Breakfast was included and it was very good also. Dove products in the bath. Mini refrigerater and single cup coffee maker in my room. Wifi was speedy and bunch of channels on the tv. I quite enjoyed staying here and will again.

There is some nice artwork and a lovely tile mosaic mural behind the front desk. The a décor of the place is quite nice. There were a few things that were quirks that I think need to be worked out. For example, in the bathroom, there was no glass to use for brushing your teeth and rinsing out your mouth. I went down to the desk to ask if they had any glasses or plastic cups and they did not. We only had paper cups for coffee in our room, nothing in the bathroom. In the shower there is no grab rail. While we did not request an ADA rrom, i would think a newly built hotel would incorporate that as past of universal design. for handicapped.our king bed was comfortable with good pillows beakfast ok.
