The brick built room is warm and sound proof, just a bit old, especially the middle of the mattress are sink. The water temperature of the shower is just slightly warm, so cold if you shower after dark.

For the price we paid the accommodation was too old fashioned / the standard of the building way too low. Further the room was equipped with an uncomfortable & unstable bed and we could hear the neighbors. The staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant was normal and had with a fair prices. Shared places looked more up to date than the room.

Had a lovely 1 night stay here. We stayed in a standard Room which are lovely. Water bottles, cookies, tea coffee were included. Liked the bathroom shower gel and shampoo conditioner. They kindly gave us a late 11AM checkout so we could shower after our early morning hike, wish we had time to sit in the balcony and enjoy a drink. Had a quick swim in the pool all to myself, it was a lovely area. The fancy restaurants are only open during winter, but the pub open all year round was good. Make sure you visit the bar overlooking to light towers and go there early for sunset as the cliffs are beautiful in the sunset. Get dinner after the bar closes, we ate a little too early which cut into our sunset viewing time. It's not necessary to buy the light tower ticket to enjoy the views, but we did buy the 8pm ticket for $30 which allows you to get a close up look at the light towers with sounds under the stars. There is also a 6.30pm $85 ticket that includes canapes and drinks. You can also show up without a ticket and buy drinks at the bar and watch the sunset over the light towers and cliffs. We did a drive up the road to see the night sky without any light pollution. Had a lovely time. Wish we stayed a second night so it wasn't so rushed.
